The Dutch West Coast scene is as fabled as Detroit techno and Chicago house. And Intergalactic Gary − a DJ for 35 years − has been involved with it since day one. The cult selector had a residency at The Hague's first ever house club in 1992 and since then has honed a style that has lead the legendary I-F to call him ‘terminator’ such is the focus he has on the decks.
Whether working you into a trance or keeping you guessing with improbable bridges between raw acid, 70s Italo or fresh techno, he's a flawless, instinctive DJ who is predictably unpredictable. Whether new or old, Gary doesn't care, “as long as it has character and something interesting going on that grabs the attention.

His music has been released on labels such as: Bio Rhythm, Dalmata Daniel, And has an upcoming release on Netherlands based label Viewlexx

There, he began a mix series of pitched down cinematic journeys called 'Safari', often constructed in many sonic layers. He's a true Gemini, always up for some mischief and new adventures when travelling with friends and like-minded peeps. He hates waiting, certainly in queues. His only phobia is of spiders above a certain size, which will def occur in this mix at some point. Furthermore, it's again a fierce collage concept. A sultry, mad, flaming, desperate river of no return.....

» This sonic landscape is a musical odyssey into a distant realm and its hidden memories — a tribute to nature's relentless brutality as well as its beauty, to an everlasting cycle of of extreme conditions that shape an unforgiving landscape. Imagine gnarled, sun-bleached trees shrouded in mist while countless creatures crawl beneath their twisted roots, and with every overturned leaf, a new microcosm emerges, revealing the intricate beauty amidst the savagery. It becomes difficult to tell whether the sky or the abyss lies above or below. 

What you hear is a collage of ethereal voices and sounds, fusing echoes of the past with whispers of the future. It is also a metaphor for an inner journey. Joy and sorrow shake hands, love, decay and renewal intertwine — a tapestry woven from the strands of existence, representing the unbridled power of the subconscious. «

To come ‘Full Circle’ is to travel the path and arrive back at the point you think you left from.

Full Circle, also known as Alexis Le-Tan (Wonders Ovze World) and Joakim (Tigersushi, Crowdspacer), a long term project with close friends Le-Tan and Joakim music project and “concept band born from loving ears that want to re-process our electronic past.”

They’ve delivered some amazing edits of obscure Goa tracks and remixed the likes of Die Orangen, 10Lec6, and Tapan and released on Good Morning Tapes and Vladimir Ivkovic’s Offen.

“To complete a journey is to learn and to slow down and re-imagine is to enrich – Full Circle hears the hedonistic sound of the 90’s in a light that reflects a different space for our current time and beyond. Always bridging the gap between the past and present: they are and continue to go Full Circle.”

"When Matt asked me to record a mix to accompany the reissue of tracks by Quentin Foster on his new label Sound Bath Records I felt excited and delighted. It’s really cool that these forgotten tunes by Quentin get a new life and more people are going to hear his work. When I started to select tunes for this mix the first tunes I chose were two tracks from different project produced by Quentin. From there I tried to build the rest of my mix around these cornerstones with other South African 90’s dance cuts."

Self Help Vol. 1 - Biko

Exploring different forms of pace through speed and half time, tribal rhythms colliding with industrial dub, bridging a new form of subconscious trance. Add to that a pinch of lysergic ambiance here and there to change the dynamics and calm things down before it all goes hectic again. Just don't be scared to break through and discover another trip into The Other Side.

Christian S is a mysterious force to be reckoned with - the well established disc jockey and trend setter has been a key player in the Cómeme crew for many years and has released a fine assortment of oddball dance music. His style is wild and wide ranging - this is a no holds barred contest and no genre or style is off limits. His adaptive take on dj'ing and production has allowed him to merge and manipulate worlds and in turn he has been supported by a wide number of promoters and clubs across the world. Appearances at the likes of Panoramabar, Salon Des Amatuers, De School and beyond have rendered him a consistent presence. 

We are delighted to welcome him as part of The Ransom Note mix series, this one is big.
