Born in Munich and currently based in Thessaloniki, Whiplash is a young upcoming artist. She’s quickly become a resident DJ at OSM Tapes Event Series and the A&R for upcoming premieres and podcasts. Ever since early childhood she’s been keen to dig into as many facets of music as possible, eventually becoming a guitarist and a vocalist in polyphonic projects. In 2020 she decided to move her passion for the electronic music spectrum forward and start DJing. Her sound is a multi blended construction, heavily influenced by the early EBM and 80’s Post- Punk movement. She also likes to incorporate techno, dirty electro elements and Dark-Wave touches in her DJ sets, in order to create a rich, multidimensional soundscape.

Harlem is a duo from Stockholm formed in 2003. Known for their elastic, easy-on-the-feet approach to beat-based electronic music, their sound is at once disturbing, free-spirited, and sludgily hooky. The band has released a string of highly acclaimed albums, EPs, and 12 inches on labels like Veyl, Body Musick, and Marguerite, garnering them a feverishly devoted international fanbase. An upcoming EP will soon be released by Milan-based label Marguerite Records.

Harlem is producer Johan Skugge and producer/vocalist Martin Thomasson. Since the band's start, they have shared creation duties equally to a fault. With over 20 years of music-making and live performances, Harlem fuses and forges a wide range of influences and impulses with an effortless command into vocal-driven, loosely electro-tinged tracks.

Continuously gravitating towards the space in between sounds, ideas, and rhythms, their music is characterized by a certain propulsive, nervous restlessness. Their sensibility is formed by a love for a wide range of music like electro, techno, ebm, new beat, dub, UK grime, Memphis hip hop, cheap horror flick music, and musique concrete, resulting in rhythmically infectious trash electro. 

Harlem makes outsider music available to anyone open to having their nervous system shocked into sweet oblivion. Described as "art happening before the audience's eyes", Harlem's live performances are singularly bizarre experiences where the band draws on the room's atmosphere to create a real sense of emergency and urgency.
