SONS OF TRADERS IS BACK WITH STELLAR LINE UP! Sons of Traders 002 is a Compilation 8 Tracks Ep of loosely knit artists that surround the duo Sons of Traders (Mike Tansella Jr. and TANS). Leading the EP, the title track “Rotten to the Core” is a slow stomper with a forceful vocal sample and some various squelches. LA’s Kosmik picks up the tempo with “Murmurs” which features a hypnotic synth loop over a 4/4 beat. On “Chomping at the Bit” C.L.A.W.S. and Tyrell trade off between claps, hi hats and short delays underneath a sinister synth tone. To close the A side of the record is Future Blondes out of Texas with “2020 ultra visions”, a cut that can only be described as a sinister barrage of slamming drums and tones. The B side launches with “The Other Side of Town” by The White Lines, a dark electro workout with vocal samples, dark synths and growling bassline. Frigio label boss Juan Pablo brings us an intricate drum pattern with layers of synths on “Night Drive in Beijing”. “Self Feral” by Chris Mitchell is something with a hip hop swing, heavy drums, various feedback and vocals. Closing the EP is Dragee, a new artist from Haifa ,Israel. “Them” features a hard snare that holds together the demented vocals, claps and bassline that develop throughout the track.

What began as a monthly night in the infamous Bushwick dive bar Wreck Room is now a residency at Good Room, H0L0, and The Lot Radio, celebrating its tenth anniversary in 2022. Aside from releasing on his own imprint, his work is featured on labels such as Mannequin Records, Public Systems Recordings, Primitive Languages, Marguerite Records, and more. Today they bring you this one hour co-op mix which reflects their passion for rock, new wave, electronic and avant-garde music. They enjoy killing time by watching their records spin, confirming that indeed, they do rotate 45 times per minute.

From generations of inbred freaks, DaFreak came out of his native frozen white tundra in 1999. It is only then that he discovered indoor plumbing, electric lights and music. Fascinated by the latter he decided to mix it, but in all the wrong ways!  DaFreak has been working as a journalist on the Arte show "Tracks" for the last twenty years.

An official descendant of a family of Savoyard princes, Dissemblance was born from a hidden volcano in the French Alps. Forever, she’s  practiced lava surfing and music. Her first solo album "Over The Sand" was  released on Mannequin records in November 2019. Dissemblance has also contributed to our "Tortoiseshell & Strings" compilation last summer with her ambient and electroacoustic track "Origine d'un syndrome".

Gavilán Rayna Russom is an interdisciplinary artist based in New York City. Over the past two decades she has produced a complex and compelling body of creative output that fuses theory with expression, nightlife with academia and spirituality with everyday life. Rayna’s renowned prowess with analog and digital synthesizers as composing instruments locates itself within her larger vision of synthesis; an artistic method of weaving together highly differentiated strands of information and creative material into cogent expressive wholes. The central thread of this practice is the exploration of liminality as a healing agent, a phenomenon she has been engaged with since childhood and has researched at an astounding depth. Her work is cumulative and experiential. It requires time and attention to take in, and it powerfully rewards those who bring their time and attention to it.

In March of 2020 Rayna founded Voluminous Arts, a creative network for supporting and disseminating works by boundary pushing artists.

ΔreamCcore (Tiffany G.) is a DJ / Designer, currently based between Athens and London, who operates on the fringes of electronic music. Under the ΔreamCcore alias, she has forged a distinct and contextualised aesthetic, drawing from Noise, Experimental, Industrial, Synth-Wave, EBM, Soundtrack and more forming atmospheric and arcane worlds. Her sets have resonated between the Greek capital and Berlin, characterised by unrestrained sonic experimental.
