Stavros Potamitis (Stevie R) evoca emociones y teje cuentos sónicos combinando la música popular Rebetiko de su tierra natal griega con la electrónica analógica. Además de ser músico, productor e intérprete, Stavros es ingeniero de sonido y profesor en Point Blank Music College en Londres. 

Nacido y criado en Chipre, Constantinos Parisinos (Parisinos) se mudó al Reino Unido a principios de los 2000. Un coleccionista obsesivo de oscuras gemas melódicas con una atracción inherente por secuencias repetitivas y ritmos hipnóticos más lentos; un entusiasta de lo poco convencional y un apasionado creyente en el poder de una cultura techno underground verdaderamente diversa.

Aparte de una amistad de hermanos, Stevie R & Parisinos han formado una formidable asociación sonora. Ya han colaborado con artistas líderes y pioneros en la música electrónica como Lena Platonos, Tolouse low Trax, Khidja, MR TC, Zombies in Miami, Man Power, Simple Symmetry. Han lanzado música para sellos como ME ME ME Recordings, Playground Records, Lagasta y el sello Inside Out Records. Han aparecido en la mayoría de los sitios de medios y blogs clandestinos, incluidos Stamp the Wax, Ransom Note, Lagasta, DJ Mag, Mixmag.

También realizan una residencia mensual en la estación de música experimental georgiana Mutant Radio. Su música ha sido apoyada por reconocidos creadores del gusto como Lena Willikens, Vladimir Ivkovic, Red Axes o Jennifer Cardini entre muchos otros .

Con un enfoque en la combinación de Rebetiko, voces fascinantes y escalas del Medio Oriente con ritmos más lentos, líneas ácidas y potentes sonidos de percusión, su sonido distintivo cautiva e hipnotiza las pistas de baile. Juntos, también lanzan proyectos más experimentales de música o actuaciones en vivo bajo su más enigmático alias After Altamont. 

Stavros Potamitis y Constantinos Parisinos también están aprovechando su visión de la música electrónica a través de su sello underground  Inside Out Records.

Inside Out Records invites Pako Vega.
Pako Vega  was born in Ceuta, the home of Calypso in the ancient Ogigia. He's a curator, record collector, radio host and DJ for Edinburgh's community EH-FM were he's been running Sounds Of Ogigia, a monthly extravaganza for curious minds.
In 2020 he founded the label of the same name which focuses on evocative and ritualistic music leaning on the Greek gnosis and aesthetics.
As opposed to established functional dance music Pako Vega aims for a more transcendental and explorative approach where the expected meets the unexpected.
On this occasion he delivers a mix of polyrhythm drums, dub and experimental music.

We are proud to present the nineteenth instalment of our Disco Suicide mix series by UK-based Stevie R (@stevie-r) & Parisinos (@Parisinos)!

Stavros Potamitis (aka Stevie R) conjures emotion and weaves sonic tales by combining the rebetiko folk music of his Greek homeland with analogue electronics. Working with a range of collaborators he offers forward thinking, avant-garde music and daring, theatrical live performances that freely blend and cross over between musical styles. As well as being a musician, producer and performer, Stevie is a lecturer at Point Blank Music College in London, runs his own record label Inside Out Records and is A & R of Chapter 24 Records. Always looking to push musical and sonic boundaries, he is just as relentlessly focused on moving things forward in his own work as he is committed to supporting the next generations to break through.

Born and raised in Nicosia, Cyprus, Constantinos Parisinos moved to the UK in early 00’s to study medicine. Electronic music quickly formed a gateway of expression. An obsessive collector of obscure melodic gems with an inherent attraction for repetitive sequences and slower, hypnotic rhythms; an enthusiast for the unconventional and the diverse underground music culture. 

Apart from his solo endeavours, Parisinos has formed a formidable sonic partnership with Stavros Potamitis (Stevie R). With a focus on blending Greek folk music (Rembetiko), mesmerising vocals and middle eastern scales with slower rhythms, acid lines and powerful percussion, their distinct sound captivates and hypnotises dancefloors. Together, they also release more experimental music under their more enigmatic alias After Altamont. Stavros Potamitis and Constantinos Parisinos are also harnessing their vision of electronic music through their label Inside Out Records. Aims for next year include a new live act and album.

Parisinos has worked with leading underground artists including Lena Platonos, Tolouse low Trax, MR TC, Anatolian Weapons, Zombies in Miami, A Strange Wedding and many more...

Disco Suicide Mix Series 019 - Stevie R & Parisinos

Inside Out Records is back, today’s guest is A-Tweed is the moniker of Ant De Oto, Italian dj/producer based in Rome.
His music is an essential smoothie of acid weird downbeats, dark electronics, afro futurism, EBM, cosmic disco, global bass, tribal techno and world music. His latest EPs have been released on the French label Hard-Fist and on the Argentine Playground Records, with remixes by Dengue Dengue Dengue and Fabrizio Mammarella, among others. He is resident with his "Coal & Ash Circuit" show on Radio Alhara (Bethlehem, Palestine).

Out Records launch their VA series “Outsiders”, with a collection comprising of 14 unique tracks by a collection of artists that are currently breaking boundaries with their creations. Joining us on this compilation include electrifying duo Zillas On Acid, magical mystic Steve Pepe, hypnotising Surgeon’s Girl, Italians A-Tweed and Azione Spettrale, Moscow’s Kolomensky, Barcelona’s Sau Poler, Malaysian talent Ed Dix, mind bending ID_UA, passion driven Justine Forever & Order 89/ Les Deux Control, all the way to Inside Out bosses Stevie R & Parisinos, and fellow Grecian’s Veslemes and Metaman; the sounds on display offer a broad spectrum within the realms of electronic music, but can equally be listened to from beginning to end.

Apart from a brother-like friendship, Stevie R & Parisinos have formed a formidable sonic partnership. They have already collaborated with leading artists and pioneers in electronic music including Lena Platonos, Tolouse low Trax, Khidja, MR TC, Zombies in Miami, Man Power, Simple Symmetry, Echonomist, Bawrut. They have released music for labels including ME ME ME Recordings, Playground Records, Hard Fist, Lagasta, Rotten City, Sinchi Collective, Nein Records and on their own imprint Inside Out Records. They have featured in most media sites and underground blogs including Stamp the Wax, Ransom Note, Lagasta, DJ Mag, Mix Mag. They had also run a monthly residency on the Georgian experimental music station Mutant Radio in 2020-2021. Their music has been supported by taste makers including Lena Willikens, Vladimir Ivkovic, Red Axes, Jennifer Cardini and many more. They have performed in many venues across London (including Fabric, Shacklewell arms, Electric Brixton, XOYO, Boat Live, Pickle Factory), whilst also performing in international events and venues such as ADE Amsterdam and Sisyphos.

Together, Stevie R & Parisinos also release more experimental music and live performance projects under their more enigmatic alias After Altamont. Stavros Potamitis and Constantinos Parisinos are also harnessing their vision of electronic music through their “rising star” underground label Inside Out Records.

Juno Review:
Franz Scala was last spotted on Boredllo A Parigi back in 2016 - he makes the move to Bahnsteig 23 for this bold record of synth pop, early electro and much more besides. "Anacondas" has a cheery tone, all sunny synth lines and a laid back boogie rhythm section, while "Thai City" is more like a scratchy beat track for DJs to get clever with. "Shadow Dancer" is one of the record's stand out moments - a muscular pop burner for all 80s romancers to get emotional and funky to. "Rascals" finishes the EP off with some seriously tough drums and some body-popping electro styles that should go down a storm on the floor.

Rounding off the fantastic EP by Alma & Mater is HADE’s BELGIUM MIX of the title track, which perfectly compliments the other remix (by ADA) by going in the opposite direction. Instead of smoothing off the edges he exposes them even more, adding sampled old-school bass and drum sounds with a twinkle in the eyes.

PRÉMIÈRE: Alma & Mater - Susan (HADE´s Belgium Mix) [Ancient Future Now]

Voices inside is a discovery within that begins with the vocals taking us from the now to the past and this stands true to the lyrics. This aptly named track moves from an 80’s synth-pop pad leading its way towards the emergence of an old school electro tom’s rolling its way to create the melody largely constructed synonymously with the drum programming that transcends its way to become a composition that grows into you before you know.

We are happy to welcome “@Notananimalrecords” label back again and this time with the English duo “Jamie Blanco & Chris stoker” aka “@Esso-Ess” releases their single-track EP which contains 2 versions (English & French) and 3 remixes from label boss Craig Richards himself, Backwoods and Pink language.
