1st hour is an all vinyl mix recorded to tape by Fashion Flesh, the solo-output moniker of Bay City, Michigan producer John Talaga, who creates and manipulates sounds using self-built analog electronics, preferring techniques such as tape manipulation and hard copy cut-ups over laptop gimmicks or synth plug-ins. Devices not built from one's own design are heavily modified beyond audible recognition or return. He has a number of excellent releases on forward thinking labels such as Unknown Precept, Hiroshima 45 Chernobyl 86 Windows 95, Jacktone & Fit Sound.

He’s been a Red Bull Music Academy alumnus in 2016 in Montréal (Canada) and graduated in Audio Production at SAE Institute in 2017.

Marco recently released his first track with the new moniker on Random Numbers.

He’s also 1/2 of Narvalos, together with Alessio Costantino (aka Askmeaboutdogs).

A day later due to the network outage, but just as excited to welcome Berlin-based producer and DJ Tans to the series. He heads the excellent Sons of Traders label together with his cousin Mike Tansella jr. They are also a production duo that operates under the same name with releases on Gravitational Waves, Rengaine, LA-based The Black Lodge run by Kosmik, as well as an upcoming release on the stellar Frigio Records. As Tans, you can check out his work on Squirrels On Film, Diffuse Reality, Seagrave, with a recent release on Dead Channel Records that is a favorite among many selectors. He also produces music as Hannibal III (GRTW) and The Sympathizer on XCPT. He's prepared a special selection that brings together gritty old-school breaks, proto-like electro, and raw funky electronics. Lock in!

Amsterdam’s mayo is a musical multiped, whose path is rather unruly than unlogical. Her DJ sets, as well as her first releases, prove that she’s not easy to pigeonhole. With a focus on downtempo electronics, EBM and techno, she weaves together a wide array of musical styles.

Taking music lessons at a young age, she discovered she couldn't commit to one program. By playing the drums, the guitar, and the saxophone, she worked towards a playfield of her own. Inspired by many musical styles, ranging from rock music to reggaeton, mayo eventually moved towards DJing and music production, which would channel her unstoppable energy best. With whatever available to her, she managed to brew her experimental sounds into electronic punk music carrying her uncompromised disposition of character.
