This week we're excited to welcome Chris Mitchell to the series. This Tampa-based DJ and producer has co-founded the Annunaki Cartel, sister label of Chicago-based Vanguard Sound, with releases by Joey Anderson, Jasss, and others. His own productions have found homes on labels such as Diffuse Reality, Clan Destine Records, Vakant, and many others. His most recent two EPs are on Squirrels on Film, which is run by C.L.A.W.S. and Solar, and his own recently launched label Feral Colony. He also hosts his Descendants radio show among Mutant Radio's great programming. Lock in for an hour of raw electronics finely selected by one of the best in his field.

How does the presence or absence of light regulates our internal biological processes and moods?
Circadian rhythms are endogenous time-keeping systems that synchronize most organisms, from unicellular cyanobacterium to humans, to the external solar cycle. Since light information is the most potent synchronizing factor, biological clocks coordinate the individual’s internal physiological and biochemical processes according to light and dark cycles.

The show is divided into two sets of 1 hour and the musical selection of each DJ reflects those moments: day or night. In this episode Diamin (CL) is in charge of the first part of the program, and GHKC (AR) of the second.

C.l.a.w.s. is the San Francisco based solo project of Brian D. Hock.  He co-runs the labels “Squirrels On Film” with Solar and “Immortal Sin” with Tyrel Williams. In addition to producing and DJing as C.l.a.w.s., he plays drums in the band “Bronze” (RVNG Intl/Not Not Fun/B.F.E./Castleface) and formerly played drums and synthesizers in “The Vanishing” (G.S.L./Cochon).

Chris Mitchell is a DJ, producer and label owner. He is no stranger to a rising South America scene, or to the bonafide establishments of  Concrete (Paris), Tresor /  Griessmuehle / 
://about blank (Berlin), Propaganda (Moscow). Starting out of Tampa in the '90s as a hip-hop DJ, Mitchell has come a long way from his street mentality and blue collar background, but it no doubt influenced his approach to sound, ranging from futuristic and soulful to raw and gritty. He's built a profile for himself as co-owner of the Vanguard Sound label and its sister Anunnaki Cartel with partner Amir Alexander. With Anunnaki Cartel and Vanguard Sound they have had several successful releases, with producers such as Traxx, DJ Spider, Hakim Murphy, Dakini 9 and Joey Anderson. He has released and remixed on a variety of labels such as Pildoras Tapes, Squirrels on Film, Sistrum, Plan B Recordings, Proper Traxx, Concrete, and music licensed for an Otsgut Ton compilation.
