How to levitate is the artistic project of Spanish musician Tasio Rey. Having played bass and guitar for a few years, the project started as an attempt to explore ambient music with an experimental approach, to then become a blend between techno, dub, and “space” music.

We’re very happy to present a fresh podcast by Einox. Having pushed his works via labels as Subosc Records, Circular Limited and Oslated, the Seoul-based producer spreads a singular sound with which he repeatedly confirms he knows his way around the studio.

For this particular occasion, he’s made efforts to record a set in which he coordinates us through some of his live arrangements. From the offset, a certain distribution of width and depth is felt in the mix that pulls you right through. Rhythms both straight and broken come and go as a continuous layer of warm hypnotics evolves and stimulates. Enjoy the mix and definitely take a listen to Einox’s previous work afterwards.

Oisatsana is the new project from experimental Spanish musician Tasio Rey. After having some experience in techno production under the name 'How to levitate', Oisatsana is a new identity that looks for a sound free of boundaries, approaching styles like glitch, drone, ambient, generative music and anything in between.

Tasio adds: “The following set is a mix of various styles and it is a good summary of the things that I am listening to the most lately and that inspire me to do music like Oisatsana”. 

Certainly, a very unique sound and extremely compact trip ‘with you’.

I go downstairs and pour myself a hot cuppa. The mist in my mouth plays camouflage with the fog and the horizontal rain that covers the atmosphere. I want to get to the oak tree on the other side, so I put on my boots to cross the river. I'm ready. Organic peace. What a beautiful awakening."

It’s August 2021 and this time the podcast series is back with yet another rising artist from South-America. The Argentinian Vanoni, who now resides in Buenos Aires, serves up a truly smashing mix for us. 

Originally from Patagonia, Vanoni was able to kickstart his passion for music production and DJ-ing in full devotion from the year 2018 onwards. His productions are mostly affected by hypnotic and abstract sounds, usually induced by sonically rich harmonies and an extraordinary sense of cosmic drama. It’s fair to say that Vanoni’s latest recordings and releases, characterized by enveloping textures, tribalistic sounds and reverberating pads, deserve to be put right in the spotlight. 

Impressively, Vanoni managed to release his work on labels like Danza Nativa, Ritualism, From A Lost Place, and N F E R E E to name a few. Besides, he has put together various other first-class podcasts for labels such as The Memoir. With the recording you’re about to listen, he clearly follows up on this quality.
