Karol  Mozgawa,  known  as  DEAS,  is  one  of  the  most  expressive artists of  the Polish electronic music scene in the recent years.

Born  in  Greece,  living  in  Krakow,  DEAS grew  up  in  a  house  where  music  played  no important  role.  As  a  teenager  he spontaneously  came  into  contact  with  trip  hop  music  and such  bands  as  Portishead  and  Massive  Attack.  Exploring  music  he  meets  the  work  of electronic  music  producers –Dubfire,  Plastikman,  Lutzenkirchen,  Sebastien  Leger  and  later Robert Hood, Kevin Saunderson and Anthony Rother, who change forever his perception of reality. Ayoung man,  fascinated by music, develops interest in club culture and djing.  Soon he started playing in clubs as well as exploring the nature of music –what is sound, how it is produced.  While  analyzing  recordings,  he  learned  about  music  production  and  began  to develop also in this direction.

As  an  artist,  DEAS is never a subject to stereotypes and cliches. He’s not afraid to think different,  as  the  purpose  of  his  work  is  continuous  development.  Walking  down  his  career path  he  recorded  in  such  prestigious  labels  as Pan-Pot’s Second State, Kevin Saunderson’s KMS  Records,  British  BUSH  Records  (that  also  released  Joey  Beltram,  Felix  DaHauscat, Dave Clarke), Baroque Rec.,Deeperfect, Monique Musique,Protonor OFF Recordings.

He  played  in  clubs  all  over  Poland, German, Belgium, Italy,  Czech  Republic, Georgia& Great  Britain.  He  performed  at  the  most  important  Polish  events: Instytut, Audioriver, Electrocity, Mayday Poland, Silesia In Love, Opener, Tauron Nowa Muzyka, etc.

Apart  from  working  on  his  own  tracks,  which  were  remixed  by  such  artists  as  Pig  &  Dan, Harvey  McKay,  and  Martin  Eyerer,  he  also  remixes  other  artists –including  Carl  Cox  or Inner City.

In 2016 he released his first album -Community LP for Bush Records that collected positive reviews  from  many  artists  (Paul  Ritch,  Pierre  Deutschmann,  Drumcomplex,  Len  Faki  and many others).

For his achievements he was appreciated in one of the best rankings of Polish electronic scene -Munoludy 2016,where  he  was  in  the  forefront  as  a  producer  and  the  author  of  a  podcast year.

Owner  of  the  Secret  Room  Studio,  where  he  creates  his  own  recordings,  and  mixes  his  and other artists’ music.

Since 2012 resident of Prozak 2.0 club in Krakow and Smolna club from Warsaw, Poland.

Aficionado a la música desde muy pequeño, el sevillano se decanta por la electrónica a finales de los 90, cuando llega a sus manos el disco The fat of the land de The Prodigy, siendo un antes y un después en su forma de apreciar la música.

En el año 2000 se compra sus primeros Technics y aunque aprende a
pinchar con los discos de Techno de un amigo,
sus primeros vinilos fueron de música Breaks & Drum and bass.

En 2002 es cuando empieza a adentrarse en el mundo de la producción,
son años de aprendizaje en busca del sonido adecuado,
pero nunca editó nada hasta el año 2007, año en el que pasa a producir House y Techno, es cuando saca su primera referencia y lo hace bajo el nombre de Dj.Cast para el sello californiano Dynamic Music. Fueron varias las referencias editadas en los años siguientes,
trabajando con sellos como Insolito Records o Ritmikal.

En 2011 cambiaría de nombre, pasando a llamarse Ubertek dejando de
lado el House y centrándose básicamente en el Techno,
editando en sellos como Advise, Clubstream, Kontrol, Induxtriall,
Soundness Music, Resorted o The End Recordings.

Ha pinchado en prácticamente todas los clubs de Sevilla, su ciudad,
clubes como Cosmos, Prisma, Even, Catedral, Emporio, Domm Disco, etc.

En 2016 y tras un parón de unos años, vuelve a la escena con su
proyecto Konnex Techno,
colectivo/promotora con el que realiza y colabora en varios eventos y
proyectos, como Techno Meeting Sevilla o Prisma,
compartiendo cabina con artistas de la talla de Inigo Kennedy, Exium,
Kwartz,Flug,Perc,C-System,Aiken o Tensal entre otros.

Steve Parker celebrates the launch of his MUTED Records imprint with the sounds of LSD. This package contains two mind boggling cuts of energy laden techno + two remixes by some of Parker's most appreciated peers. "LSD" is a work of high endurance that cruises along at a steady pace. Growling fx sounds are firmly placed on top of thundering drums and a squelching drone sound.

"Psychedelic Therapy" showcases a more subtle side of Parker's palette. This track revolves around an acidic bass sound, chaotic arps and a soothing pads that glues the whole together. To top thing of we find Gotshell and ARKVS on remix duties. Gotshell does a gripping industrious approach of "LSD", whereas ARKVS smooth things out for their rework of "Psychedelic Therapy".
