While his cryptic moniker dodges detection by sophisticated search engines, this Chicago-born, Brooklyn-based hardware techno helmer first caught the ears of New York’s underground with his hiss loaded, dazzlingly dissonant, plodding yet pulsating rhythms. A self avowed gear nerd (which explains his day job at Brooklyn modular synth shrine Control), Max Ravitz’s texture tinkering Body Issues cassette (later reissued on Opal Tapes) became one of the most critically lauded debuts of 2013, receiving justified hurrahs for its malleable layers of house haze. This purveyor of groovy ambience followed that up with last year’s melodically skittering Side Piece EP on Ghostly sublabel Spectral Sound. Besides Patricia, Ravitz also collaborates with a number of like minded analog techno producers: with Jahiliyya Fields on the L.I.E.S. affiliated, darkly psychedelic duo Inhalants; with NGLY on the acid tinged Taxes project; and with fellow Opal Tapes labelmate ARP as Masks, dispensing an unremitting stream of shuffling basslines. For his debut festival appearance, Patricia has plotted an outbreak of woozy patterns care of an all hardware live set.

Wa Wu We is the artist alias and label from Sebastian Mullaert. This is the third chapter, crafted in the Swedish woods. The fi rst 6 episodes of the Wa Wu We label will form a collection of records, united by their significant and unique cover art and the way they’ve been recorded; this being the focus on improvising expression, resting in meditation and the nature surrounding Sebastian’s studio. All 6 of these episodes will be limited to 500 copies each.

The beautiful four colour sleeve is designed by art director Markus Clemmedson and include Sebastian’s poetry.

Und auch danke Robert, dass du mich gefragt hast und ich damals ohne große Hürden einfach einsteigen konnte. 2011 gingst du das erste mal mit der Sendung in die Luft und ab 2013 waren wir zu zweit. Inzwischen bin ich seit mehreren Jahren alleine unterwegs gewesen und habe den Punkt erreicht Radioblau auch "auf Wiedersehen" zu sagen. Nach ca. 86 Sendungen und über 90 Gästen ist hier jetzt für Wolkigmusic Schluss. Ich möchte auch allen Gästen die ich im Studio kennengelernt habe danken. Am Ende ist neben der Musik das der eigentliche Grund warum es immer wieder solch einen Spaß gibt und einem positive Energie bringt an einem tristen grauen Sonntag halb 8 ins Radio zu fahren. 9 Jahre gab es einmal im Monat am Sonntag von 20 Uhr elektronische Musik jeglicher Colour. Am Sonntag gab es nochmal eine ganz normale Sendung bei der ich, Philipp, Phipsi oder Flipper (wie ihr wollt), 2h Musik spielen werde.
