Our next atist is a multidisciplinary project created recently by the evolution of different artistic and exploratory stages. This project has developed different facets, including a career as an interpreter and sound designer when experimenting with a wide variety of musical sequences and soundscapes.

It seeks the integration of oscillating interpersonal ideas among the variety of solid conceptions. This project also defines the transformation of the artist that has developed under different aliases for many years.

Each interpretation is made to create an atmosphere based on sound art, generative art and Techno in its different variations.

Today we'd like to introduce Seconde Aride.

What you can hear in Seconde Aride's sets is a medley of sub-heavy, breaksy and deep beats covering a wide range of styles. This one is a rather low-paced ballad weaving somewhere between ethereal deep techno, ambient, and stuff that never asked to be classified. Yet, samples all have an identity, be they recorded from the depth of the sea or generated by the chip of a synth. Seconde Aride approaches djing as a way of aggregating these ecosystems in his own fashion, thus creating new sonic worlds.

Awareness XII: Feral

@4cr0nym has shown his relentless energy and creativity as a producer, DJ and live musician by continuously releasing his own brand of electronic music on high quality labels such as Semantica, Northern Electronics and Field Records. With over a dozen releases so far, it started with him self-releasing his first record on his acclaimed own label Dimensional Exploration in the end of 2012. Since then he has recently launched a new label called Stilla Ton.

Pushing already established boundaries, spanning genres and continuously evolving his sound while keeping it unmistakably his own, shows that he has not intended to stop anytime soon. With a natural aptitude for experimentation, no set is ever the same. Making every performance a unique experience for the listeners and the venue.

Plants Army Revolver is the duo formed by Marco Ragni and Valentin Birgan. The pair met in 2013 in Rome, while attending an electronic music course at Fonderie Sonore. After an almost immediate connection, the two promised each other to meet again in the studio for a joint jam session. For a series of reasons, this only ended to happen after two years.

In winter 2014, Marco and Valentin finally managed to get together and brainstorm: this was when the project Plants Army Revolver was born.
From here onwards, it followed several years of recordings and live sessions throughout Italy and Europe.
PAR’s sound is a constant balance between ambient and techno music, with tribal and hypnotic features, always pursuing musical investigation, research and experimentation through the use of modular synths and drum machines.
