Muteqx is the current incarnation of UK-based multi-instrumentalist and producer Dave Silvester.

Having been surrounded by a rural backdrop of Welsh mountains during her childhood, and undertaking numerous electronic explorations throughout university, Gillie emerges with a perfect blend of varied textures, from rich and earthy vocals, to gritty and detailed sweeping guitar sounds. Her recent music explores a growth in feelings, swinging from dark greys to comforting warmths. Her music maintains an element of grunge, with a thread of folk influenced narrative.
