MOTEL77 is the Shanghai-born duo of Thoma Cher & Charp. Architects among other artists of the so-called “dark disco” sound in the 2010s, they do music “for those who like to keep their leather jacket on the dance floor” (Trax Magazine)

Revealed by La Dame Noir, their tracks have been remixed by artists like Thomass Jackson or Sascha Funke. Now based in Europe, They return after a short break exploring new sounds merging the frontiers between indie electro, minimal groove, slow techno and old school dark disco.

Furotica, formerly known as Furor Exótica, is an Argentinian dancefloor-oriented duo from Buenos Aires, formed in 2014 by vocalist Barbie Garbage and producer Ric Piccolo. They have five powerful EPs and multiple V/A collaborations on labels such as Bordello A Parigi, Toy Tonics, Tom Tom Disco, and Boots & Legs.

With their latest release, Rebirth Is Hardwire (2025), the duo shed their former skin to reveal a sleeker, more menacing incarnation. One where vintage synth-wave Mushroom House Vol 3 (12" vinyl) collides headfirst with razor-edged Italo-Disco, wired tight with a delirious, psychedelic charge. 

Since the project began, they have toured extensively across South America, Europe, and Asia, performing at various clubs and festivals worldwide. Furotica has been remixed by Franz Scala, Kay-chi. Richard Rossa, Frank Agrario, Fabrizio Mammarella, Leitstrahl, Future Feelings, Kayroy & Greetings, Alan Dente, Trujillo, and Donald's House, among others.

PARISSIOR [SCAMA019]

Brandski is a French electronic music producer, DJ, and live performer based in Toulouse. Known for his analog-driven sound, his music resonates with fans of analog textures and driving rhythms, offering a timeless fusion of dancefloor energy and melodic depth. He blends italo disco, electro, and EBM into sharp and cinematic tracks. Trained in classical music, Brandski evolved into electronic production since a decade. His music is powered by instruments like the Roland TR-707, the Yamaha DX-7 or the Korg MS-20.

His regular releases include EP like Paranoia on Division Record label, Optical Signal on Nein and the acclaimed Moonrider LP on Mélopée Records. With this album, he explored a journey through retro-futuristic music, carried by synths, deep grooves, and cosmic melodies. On tracks like “Disco Dance” and “Feather and Silk” he blended nostalgia and innovation.

He regularly performs live or as a DJ in clubs and festivals. This summer, you can catch Brandski on stages in Lyon, Dax, and Toulouse. Don't forget to follow him to stay updated on his upcoming releases and shows.

Brandski - SOULMEEX DECKS 147

Pour ce numéro 169, entre rythmes et notes, @maddrod incarne la curiosité qui sommeille en Rodrigo Pinheiro (c'est son vrai nom). Originaire de Lisbonne, DJ, producteur et directeur d'Inner Shah Recordings, il défie les frontières entre les genres de la musique électronique grâce à une approche à la fois nostalgique et avant-gardiste. Installé à Berlin depuis 2022, il a redécouvert son identité à travers un son rétrofuturiste qui a culminé avec son deuxième album studio, Sad Behaviour (2023) – une plongée robuste, punk et intime dans le passé, tournée vers l'avenir. Après sa sortie, il a passé un court séjour au Portugal, renouant avec la scène club du pays, créant sa série d'événements, Panthera, et travaillant sur Sad Behaviour: Expanded Edition (2024), qui a ajouté quatre nouveaux singles à l'album.
Son dernier album, l'EP Make You Sweat, sorti sur Inner Shah en février 2025, prouve qu'il maîtrise parfaitement la recette de ce mélange de genres. Rétro, brut et implacable, son son donne le pouls du mouvement.

Rekord 61 - is the stage name of Russian producer Alexander Babaev. Alexander was born in 1985 and currently lives in the heart of the Russian Federation, Moscow.
The love for music began in Alexander‘s early childhood, when he was just 4 years old. At such a young age Alexander most of his time spent at listening to records on the legendary gramophone in the Soviet Union - Vega-108. Parents say that at that time it was impossible to divert the child from the gramophone. Recently he recorded his debut EP - Kaskad and invited the stunning Berlin DJ and producer Phon.o (Shitkatapult, 50 Weapons, Monkeytown) to make a remix. Starting from 15th April you can check the result of this work!

Kaskad EP - The inspiration for this work was the idea of monumental art, technical aesthetics of giant industrial structures, created in the middle of the last century. Phon.o created an amazing remix. He left massiveness, reworked many elements and all wrapped in a beautiful „theatrical“ shell – that’s how Phon.o described his idea. The second track on side B - Prostor. This work is full of energy and impetuosity, the sensations that can occur in a completely open space, when a man, like a wind, fully unlimited.

In this podcast I featured tracks that were of influence on my sound and career. All of these tracks somehow led me to where I'm currently at as an artist.
