From Bellingham to Berlin, @Willdabeastofficial connects worlds once again with “Bum Bum Chank,” the latest single from the forthcoming Willdabeast & Friends album and a full-fledged collaboration with Italian-born, Berlin-based producer and sound designer Re:Set (Francesco Luigi Lenci).

A cross-continental creation, “Bum Bum Chank” merges Willdabeast’s horn-driven live energy and production with Re:Set’s precision engineering and dub-wise depth. It’s meditative, weighty, and joyfully human, a track that feels like sunlight breaking through bass fog.

@reset_music is a studio manager at Hypertone Studio, is a veteran of Europe’s experimental bass scene. With more than 15 years of sound design, mixing, and teaching experience, he’s performed at Modem Festival, Freqs of Nature, Feel, Wao, and Human Evolution and released on labels including Addictech, Adapted, Open Records, Digital Structures, Bassic, and Outtallectuals. His sample work for Premier Sound Bank and ADSR has repeatedly reached #1 on Beatport Sounds (Drum & Bass), while his engineering credits include projects for Nike, Biennale di Venezia, Rare Noise Records, and more.

Muti  Music = Medicine Music.
In South African English, the word "muti" is used to refer to all sorts of herbal medicine. It is derived from the Zulu/Xhosa word umuthi, meaning "tree," whose root is -thi. In Southern Africa, "muti" and cognates of umuthi are in widespread use in most indigenous African languages as well as in South African English and Afrikaans, which sometimes use "muti" as a slang word for medicine in general, or even as a term for 'good luck'.
