+ This artist, remixer, producer and DJ thrives off the edm bass music scene. She is known to mix all different types of Bass music together to form her own unique sound. Her roots are breakbeats, house, jungle and hip hop. She grew up as a house dancer turned breakdancer who was compelled by these beat. Her roots also run deep with Reggae and dancehall. Through the years she grew a deep love for Dubstep, Drum and Bass and Trap Music. Anything Bass heavy and soulful that evokes good feelings is her kind of style. "There is good music in all genres, as long as you have good taste in music!

Bliss was born and raised near Philadelphia ,PA, where she embarked her journey DJing in 2005. She had residencies all over the city and was a big part of promotion for the underground scene. She played many shows in NYC and all over New England. She then moved to Baltimore, MD and soon had many residencies in that city as well as DC and surrounding areas down south.

Bliss always had a love for the bay area music scene for many years and some of her biggest influences are from there. She now lives in The Bay Area, California and plays all over the state. Her style now a days is very bass heavy, trap, breakbeat, hip hop influenced tracks with a Dubstep, ragga and jungle feel. She plays from 70 bpm to 180bpm mixing in many different genres. Being a dancer she is known to bring lots of energy to the decks and knows what to play to get peoples feet moving! There is never a dull moment when she is on the decks.

She has released a bunch of tracks one of the newest being a remix of Twista's Overnight Celbrity. She has been playing guitar and keys since she was a child. She has a great ear for music and strictly uses turntables as her instrument. You can catch her scratching during her sets adding to the hype of the crowd! If your lucky you may even catch her doing one of her breakdance performances in-between mixing and scratching!

Vancouver-based producer Kermode has prepared his first ever full length album, “Between Mountain and Moon”, out now on Gravitas Music. Both captivating and spirited, the release blends crunchy, psychedelic bass with a heavy melodic focus for a soulful electronic journey. Each track compliments the next for the perfect progression traversing both energetic, intense tunes and more nuanced, stirring offerings as well. Apart from the nine diverse original tracks, the album is also features three remixes from Dalton Richmond, Of The Trees, and The Digital Connection. 

The album opens with “Visions”, a bright, upbeat glitch-hop contribution that uplifts the listener to an ambient dimension with delicate instrumentation before unleashing a wave of synthetic fervor at the climax. Next, “Cloud Keeper” pulls from future bass and dnb influences alike, creating a creepy, genre-bending thumper. “Phantom Force” delivers a dark yet powerful element setting the perfect prequel to the album’s bass driven heartbreak anthem, “Haunted”, in which Kermode combines eerie synths with moving vocals for a truly emotional experience. Dalton Richmond leads the collection of remixes with his spin on “Moon Child”, adding an enticing dose of electro funk to Kermode’s already smooth and sensual groundwork. Of The Trees supplies an enchanting take on “Trinket”, creating quite the smooth and distinctive adapatation. Lastly, The Digital Connection leaves us with a treat, delivering a dark and haunting take on “Bliss” that easily evokes goosebumps within the listener.

When the original of Friend came out, it was one of the coolest tracks I'd heard in awhile. I loved how much fun the vibe was, plus the almost passive aggressive lyrics about cutting a toxic person out of your life. So when @FRNDmusic reached out asking me to remix the track, it was a no brainer. Being out on tour this fall, I was super inspired to make a hard hitting version of the song that would work in my live shows. Staying true to the original, I kept a lot of the parts and blew everything else up 10 fold for a big fat remix that I hope is just as much fun as the original.

Muti  Music = Medicine Music.
In South African English, the word "muti" is used to refer to all sorts of herbal medicine. It is derived from the Zulu/Xhosa word umuthi, meaning "tree," whose root is -thi. In Southern Africa, "muti" and cognates of umuthi are in widespread use in most indigenous African languages as well as in South African English and Afrikaans, which sometimes use "muti" as a slang word for medicine in general, or even as a term for 'good luck'.
