Path2 is a familiar name on Muti Music, typically producing heavy and Deep Dubstep as well as some awesome UK Garage styled beats. This time he stepped up with a collaboration EP with a very talented emerging artist from Northern California who spits out some fantastic lyrics.
They have created a fusion of Dubstep and UK Garage with an urban American lyricism that draws heavily from Hip Hop influences as well as UK Drill. The result is music that is unique, fun and highly accessible, the basslines are at times almost stupidly wonky and full of punch. This EP is instantly one of our new favorites.

Path2, also known as Ryan Berardi, is a sonic architect sculpting the realms of bass music. Drawing inspiration from the eclectic energy of the Bay Area, Path2 infuses his productions with a unique blend of diverse influences, seamlessly weaving together elements of bass, hip-hop, and electronic music. Path2's discography includes a wide range of genre-pushing music, including several collabs with Neumonic and releases on Fantastic Voyage, Widdfam, and Causmic Creative. His DJ sets include all original productions, weaving everything from bass to UK garage and beyond.
Look is one of our new favorites, he’s a talented lyricist/producer residing in Northern California.

"I wanted to use this mix as a good opportunity to rinse some different sounds I’m playing around with, as well as sharing some tunes that I’ve been digging recently. I did little to no planning on this one and sorta just went with a pretty freeform mix, so there should be a flavor for just about everyone in here. I’m really stoked on the chance to have a nice place to debut some of these tracks I’ve been sitting on (some upwards to a year or two!) to build a lil hype on them.

Often referred to as 'The First US Bass Music label' , Muti Music has been pushing emerging and established genres of bass music since 2002.
Muti  Music = Medicine Music.
In South African English, the word "muti" is used to refer to all sorts of herbal medicine. It is derived from the Zulu/Xhosa word umuthi, meaning "tree," whose root is -thi. In Southern Africa, "muti" and cognates of umuthi are in widespread use in most indigenous African languages as well as in South African English and Afrikaans, which sometimes use "muti" as a slang word for medicine in general, or even as a term for 'good luck'.
