The release of award-winning DJ and producer duo Bedouin’s debut album ‘Temple of Dreams’ marked the long-awaited apex of Tamer Malki and Rami Abousabe’s sound and sonic vision, seven years in the making, to be exact. Today, the deep listening experience that showcases the forward-thinking group’s talents as songwriters, lyricists and musicians will evolve once again through the release of two new reworks from the multi-talented DJ, producer and activist LP Giobbi and the prolific house outfit Catz ‘N Dogz.

Reimagining the first track in this remix package is the music industry’s effervescent break-out star LP Giobbi. Harnessing a strong sense of melody and arrangements rooted in a jazz and classical music background, LP Giobbi delivers a seductive house rework of 'Medieval' that layers enchanting synths with an alluring sense of late-night ritual. With a uniquely charismatic sound that has graced every major club, festival and label from Diynamic to Dirtybird, the pair have cemented themselves as a household name in the underground music scene for over two decades, leaving a dazzling impression on global dance floors at large. The duo’s interpretation of Bedouin’s ‘Crazy’ offers an intense auditory dichotomy that couples heavy drums with the aching vocals of Armenian singer and pop star Iveta to create an indelible opus at the intersection of heart-wrenching and heart-thumping.

"Vibe Quest Chapter One" is a sneak preview into label-head Sabo's upcoming full length LP, with 2 stellar remixes from Acid Pauli and Nadastrom.
"Vibe Quest" is a slow chill-out entry to ease you into this new deeper sound, and features Sabo's Mom, Carolyn Sabatini, live on the vibraphone. "Singing Game" is a mid tempo deep tribal cut complete with African percussion, thick bass, and builds into a beautiful breakdown sampling a group of small young girls from the Ivory Coast playing a game of call and response. This tune was 1st debuted on the Robot Heart bus in 2013 at Burning Man. Acid Pauli takes "Singing Game" and transforms it into club ready deep techno cut with analog synths weaving in and out, constantly building melodies until the climatic breakdown. Nadastrom take "Vibe Quest" into another dimension with an epic mid tempo journey into deep slow house. The remix builds and builds until the break down where they let the jazzy skills of Carolyn Sabatiini's vibraphone solo breath new life into the dance floor, before coming back in with the tribal groove.

An artist with impressive credentials to his name, Carlo Whale returns to Particles with a debut EP in the shape of "A New Beginning". Remixes comes from French and Belgian stars.

Hailing from the Italian island of Sardinia, Carlo Whale has found himself in the sets of the DJ glitterati with increasing regularity. Making his debut for 2 Sides Records in 2011, the Cagliari resident has gone on to sculpt a distinctive sound that has graced the likes of Einmusika, Natura Viva and Steyoyoke. A remix of Pole Folder's "A Glimpse into the Past" saw a first Particles appearance in August 2018 as a debut EP now showcases two original tracks. "A New Beginning" is a beautifully crafted affair based around wonderful bassline progression, ticking offbeat percussion and whip-cracking kick. Building effortlessly, a rippling arpeggio filters in and out of aural range adding a hypnotic melodic energy while a counterpoint motif gives further joy. Partner track, "Alnitak" sees an intricate rhythmic framework, full of 808 claps and head-shaking groove, form the foundations for a bouncing bassline to sit snugly against a detuned analogue lead that fizzes and modulates across the stereo spectrum in beautiful melodic motif. A series of effects add drama in a track that oozes melodic techno quality.

A regular across the clubs and festivals of France, Ukraine, Turkey and Lebanon, Rafael Cerato's affinity with the underground dance scene has seen him hit headlines and mainstages with impressive regularity. Production work for the likes of Stil Vor Talent, Eleatics and Systematic, has seen Cerato's talent recognised by some of the industry's finest imprints and remixed by such leading lights as Coyu, Quivver and Einmusik. Making his Particles debut, the Rafael Cerato remix of "A New Beginning" immediately impresses with its dancefloor prowess. Creating a pounding new rhythmic structure rich in snare fills, Cerato's skill is to infuse Carlo Whale's melodic phases with new character and drive as the arpeggio so central to the original cuts through the mid-range. Simultaneously, a growling bassline, sympathetic to Carlo's work, provides a stunning new direction while a new vocal sample adds further depth and intrigue.

A passion for music instilled on him by his father's love for vinyl, Kynan Cosma's burgeoning production career has seen a raft of original music hit the virtual shelves for the likes of Deep Therapy Records, Mood Music and Deep House Belgium. Returning to Particles after the success of his "Powerful Meganism" EP with remixes from Lucas Rossi and Pedro Mercado and Karada, the Kynan Cosma remix of "Alnitak" uses the central melodic theme that resonates throughout Carlo Whale's original. Infusing the track with a new rhythmic structure, a head-nodding groove ripples across proceedings alongside a new cavernous bassline element that erupts in the third movement with bristling power. Additional production material also comes courtesy of a new ethnic vocal element that fits elegantly against Carlo's work.

Paul Angelo and Don Argento return to Tash's Movement Recordings with a new EP entitled 'Dear Cave'. Hailing from Cyprus, the much loved duo have become a core part of the Greek imprint since making their debut in 2017 with a contribution to the label's 'Technical Progress' Vol. 7 collection. Paul and Don have since gone on to appear an additional four times while also finding a home on Beat Boutique, Dopamine Music, Sound Avenue and Soundteller Records. Now following a stunning remix of Michael and Levan and Stiven Rivic's 'Rumors' the duo lands back on Movement with a three track artist showcase.

Beginning with the title track 'Dear Cave' Paul and Don continue to explore the dark progressive minded ethos which has made them such in demand artists. Energetic and fluid, punchy beats and perfectly contoured bass unite for a robust low end. Dramatic pulses and piercing stabs add mightily to the rhythmic core as layers of percussion build momentum with each successive loop. Enticing yet mysterious, ghostly atmospheres take the narrative into a tense break, melting down to an arcane rumble before a tasteful build cues a powerful drop.

'Absence' follows suit with a more minimalistic yet equally mystical approach. Acidic rhythms carry the rolling groove while haunting atmopheres sweep across the stereo field. Once again drama and tension are at a premium here, as a timely break and tasteful modulation resets the groove for a chugging finale.

The third and final selection 'Day Walker' finds the duo lightening the mood just a touch to round out the release. It's meaty kick and rolling underbelly provide a perfect balance of warmth and drive. Playful arps layer the commanding groove as astral effects and icy overlays steal the air. The narrative shifts with a second act of broken beats, transferring energy into a short break before a rush of noise sparks a smooth and reflective final act. It caps off a welcome return to Movement Recordings for Paul and Don, a production duo who continue to operate at their creative peak.
