Groningen-based @convoluteofficial made a first appearance in our store earlier this year with his 'Everyday In My Life EP' on @ocultismo. On top of that, he has just released another outstanding EP on Fauxpas Musik. For this latest edition of our podcast series, he recorded a first ever live set, exclusively featuring unreleased own productions. Over the course of one hour, you will be taken on an introspective journey, blending deeply emotional and atmospheric house and techno. Highly recommended! During their sets, they always seek for a strong interaction and connection with the audience. With a blend of tracks from various genres, unreleased edits & breakbeats you never know what you will get during their act.

Interested and in tune with many diverse forms of music, no matter the genre. His passion is for Funk and Groove built on a solid foundation bassline with a sprinkle of our synthedelic and/or Punk & an air of psychedelic electro with a shamanic voodoo vibe. He grew up with the music of many influence from Synth, Nu Wave,Punk, Indie and early Dance culture, key stand outs thou Chicago House and Detroit Techno. A huge shout out to my mentor and great friend Paul who inspired and enlightened me since late 80's the magic and importance of electronic music; thank you Paul. After arriving in NewYork in the early 90's after graduation in Architectural Graphic design, cutting his teeth in A multi culture with many influences. This vibe influenced his sense of rhythm and energy which is felt in his selection and passion for good Music. Having a broad but particular range which has something else within a very provocative and unique sound moving with eternal yet an earthy journey. Buying 12" from the initial providers such as Submerge Detriot. Worked in the Music business for many years with BPM records as a buyer of all Electronic/House/Techno with a major focus on these genres and 12" Vinyl as a media. 

Playing DJ gigs in Ireland, UK, Europe in the early days having a few regular and Irregular slots ultimately a residency at South Club Tramore. 
GBN is always drawn to the evolution of Music in its many forms and keeps the freshness and energy alive as it moves into the 21st Century.
