The horror happening in Palestine cannot fail to influence us as human beings as well as inform our musical expressions too. 
I recorded this selection for my monthly radio show on Radio Banda Larga two weeks ago, in the hope that a stop to violence in Gaza would happen, and now, two weeks later, i'm saddened to see it's even getting worse.

LoR Guest Mix series is made with love and empowered by the concept of sisterhood. Contributors are the women of music, DJs, producers, selectors who actively redefine music environment.

The premiere mix comes from a wonderful Istanbul based artist - Ahu. An RBMA alumni, cooperated with Flying Lotus (Roberta Flack), Mr. Beatnick, Emanative, Miles Bonny and many more. She is a frequent guest at the best music festivals - Barcelona Sonar, Southern Soul Festival, Jazzystan, Brainfeeder, Worldwide Festival Sete  and clubs like Plastic People, Boiler Room London, Baltic Room, East Village, Trinity, Nectar and Gilles Peterson’s World Wide Awards.  Her single "Go" came out in July 2019 from Sony Music. She hosted a radio show on worldwide Fm called "Hour of Light " for 6 years with many guests from all over the world. Ahu released her solo  album "Stellar" from Mythstery Records London, in November 2023, called Stellar, "Stellar" got great reviews by many DJs and also played on radios like BBC, FIP and KEXP.
