From the bushlands of Australia's East Coast, come the sumptuous progressive sounds of Cordelira.

Among a scene heavily influenced by deep, driving electronica, Cordelira represents a tough and diverse spectrum of Progressive Techno, setting trends in deep, soulful grooves through psychedelic soundscapes and design.

Cordelira is the medium through which a dance floor may transend into dimensions of unique rhythm and soul.

Mood Swing and Chevy Bass have cemented their spot as one Australia’s most exciting and entertaining live acts and undisputed party starters. The genre bending live electronic duo conduct their shows like ring masters of a circus, encouraging crowds to surrender their inhibitions to the rhythm and let loose their inner party animals.
Their unique brand of electronic bass music crosses over and infuses multiple genres while they live remix on the spot. Their trademark sets described as funky in the front and filthy in the back will take you on a journey, kicking off with ghetto funk and glitch infused party jams and flowing all the way though to filthy & fat house bass lines, all while adding their multi-instrumental skills to give each show a unique live flavour.
But it’s not only their music that has been getting bodies moving and chins wagging. With a penchant for theatrics each live show is crafted uniquely, featuring wailing keytars, electronic samplers, tribal percussion, banging horn sections, electric cello and dance floor aerobics…you name it, you’re sure to see it at a Mood Swing & Chevy Bass show.
Since their inception in 2015 they have entertained crowds across the globe in the United States, Canada, Europe and home in Australia, playing the likes of Boomtown Fair (UK),Burning Man (USA), Rainbow Serpent, Splendour in the Grass, Earth Frequency Festival, Rabbits Eat Lettuce, Subsonic just to name a few. They’ve shared the stage with artists like, Claptone, Chris Lake, Sevenn, Shapeless, Opiou & Funk Hunters
2019 saw the duo’s debut EP ‘Bring it on Down’ signed to Brazilian heavyweight label, G Mafia Records. Followed up in 2020 with another release on G Mafia ‘Take Ya Back’

"As a child, I grew up sitting in front of a computer by myself. That is where I learnt about music; playing video games and watching endless reruns of cartoons and American TV shows. Television gave me shelter when I was alone, nursed me with Hollywood’s mythologies. It guided me through nameless countries; with it I brought down colossuses and climbed mountains. I preached its beliefs. But when I grew up, all my heroes died. 

Today, I still come to mourn in deserted movie theatres. There, lights flash before my eyes. But I don’t feel anything in face of the latest blockbusters and their visual explosions, these chaotic clusters where Mechas and Kaijus pile up in between fights under the rain, tsunamis and apocalyptic scenes… Yet I feel numb, except for the roaring sub-basses that fill the void of cinemas. My music is for those who, like me, have grown up amongst the ruins of blockbusters. For them my bass trembles and my synths screech. 

But I know that beyond this digital coldness lie other horizons, other possibilities."

Playing across various different genres, From Hip Hop and Glitch to tasty four to the floor beats,  just throw in a splash of soul and you have an infectious sound that will have you Jiving till the early hours.

Having played residencies in Australia, Germany, Portugal US, Mood Swing continues to tour and play with his long time partner in crime - Chevy Bass. Adding a soirée of live instruments to their shows across the Australian festival and club scene.
