Evolution Chamber continues to expand its 2026 vision with the arrival of Italian producer Merikan, who makes his debut on the label with the double A-side single “Face Off / Hades”.

Hailing from Naples, Merikan has built a solid reputation since his first release back in 2012. Over the years, he has established himself as a consistent and formidable presence in the murky Drum & Bass underbelly, delivering a steady stream of releases on respected imprints such as Blackout, Eatbrain, PRSPCT and C4C.

As Evolution Chamber injects fresh blood into its roster in 2026 with artists like MNTL, Neonlight and Zombie Cats, Merikan now joins the family with his first release on the label, “Face Off / Hades”, bringing his signature intensity to the next chapter of the imprint.

“Face Off” represents Merikan in full attack mode. Straight, hard-hitting drums collide with heavy bass pressure and gnarly synth lines, forming a track built to take no prisoners and aimed directly at peak-time dancefloors.

On the flip, “Hades” explores darker and more experimental territory while maintaining the same level of force. Broken beats set the foundation, driven by rising call sections and sharp drum edit responses, before shattering basslines cut through and the rhythm locks into straighter patterns. It’s a track designed for those who like their beats heavy and their bass fat.

With “Face Off / Hades”, Merikan steps onto Evolution Chamber with authority, marking the beginning of what promises to be a powerful new chapter for both the artist and the label.
