It took me five years to release this because in the process of healing the internalised homophobia, shedding masks, and embracing my own queerness, I discovered the beauty and softness of being gay that was waiting for me past the difficulties and hardship. 

That being said, this song wants to be released, so here it is, 5 years later, to honour the process and the beauty in which I found myself in, by taking accountability and learning to love myself more deeply.

Thank you to all the souls and spirits that guided me in this most loving way

To the creator for communicating with me, to Billie for the inspiration and motivation lol, and for me for sticking around, woohoooooo!

And a wee reminder to me and anyone who wants it, when things get tough it's a okay to just float on your back, enjoy the view and/or get through the rough waters until you have the strength and moment to swim to safety.
