Our eleventh podcast of 2021 comes from biøs! (@bios01h)

Biøs is a DJ, producer and sound engineer with over a decade of experience under his belt. His sound is focused around electro in both classic and modern forms. He is actively engaged in building scenes in Southern Poland: he runs Azymut studio and @skan-rec label in Katowice, and used to be resident of Kraków's Szpitalna 1. He was part of now defunct trio Urloop, whose Abyss EP was released by ARTS in 2015. Around the same time, he started promoting his first parties, working with such crews as @dypecrew and In Unity. 
Now, Biøs is working on his debut solo release scheduled for Fall 2021. „Spectral Substance”, a foretaste of what's to come was released by K-Hole Trax on a tape compilation. Biøs regularly appears in places important for Polish electronic music. He has played at Unsound, Up to Date, Upper, Audioriver festivals as well as most of the relevant clubs.

Anna Borsuk is a young DJ and promoter from Kiev, now based in Warsaw. As a part of SOJUZ (@sojuz_crew) group she organised and played many events, presenting her unique selection of raw and unchained electro-breaks, as well as cosmic and eclectic Romanian minimal. Deeply rooted in Kiev’s underground scene, she keeps in touch with its core sound, while adding fresh inspirations and discoveries into the mix.

Penera is a group of two DJs and producers, who treat the boundaries of genres and styles quite freely. Their productions are a hybrid of modern electro and acid techno sounds, with a strong dose of inspiration from old school breaks, jungle culture and the vulgarity of the era during which the clubs were ruled by trance. They are associated with the P23 Katowice club and the SZOK initiative. At the beginning of 2021, they launched their label POTOP Records.

PAKA, who is connected with music from her early days, when she finally had found the world of electronic music she became most comfortable with all kinds and varieties of heavy music. Diversity is her second most distinct trait when it comes to her musical selection. In her short career, she has already played in clubs all over Poland - Transformator, Szpitalna 1, Projekt LAB, Schron, Tama, Ciało, or the recently defunct INQbator - to mention just a few. She also has a festival debut at the Visions Festival in Wrocław. From 2019 she is a member of the Technokracja collective from Poznań.

The Sassafras Tree project that Lewa and Mitch create founded when their private roads merged into one common trail. Their sets have already resounded in many cities throughout Poland and were met with an amazing reception by the dance floor crowd. Every day they are stationed in Poznań, mainly in their residential stables ‘Schron’ or ‘HOUSE Szkolna’. The music they share is a mix of melodic house, afro house, deep house or how Mitch generalizes "mukke". 
Mitch is the founder of ATR Kollektiv, responsible for, among others, the Garden of God series known in Poland or the annual rave in the middle of the forest - AGREGATIK. So far, he has played in almost all of Poland, Berlin or at such festivals as Silberberg, Summer Contrast, Audiopole, Boski Fest, Fort Fest or Kaskada. With his extraordinary promoter sense, sophisticated selection and technical skill, he always attracts to his events and sets a whole bunch of dancers thirsty for sublime and euphoric sounds. 
Lewa, playing for almost the last 5 years of her life, also visited many Polish clubs and festivals. She also had several performances in the French Alps. On a daily basis, he manages his club HOUSE Szkolna, where he also acts as a booker, organizes various cultural events or conferences related to the local electronic scene - Poznan Club Integration. Recently, she undertook to implement her next crazy and quite ambitious idea which was a pioneering event called 'Guess who's back', where DJs playing the b2b formula played on 2 sets of equipment separated by a wall, not seeing and not knowing who divide the set until the end of it.
So far, they have supported artists such as Nico Stojan, Bebetta, Sven Dohse, Bog, Sama, Dominik Eulberg, Love over Entropy, Sascha Cawa, Rey & Kjavik, Ruede Hegelstein, Marc de Pulse and Stereo Express.

He made his debut at the Wrocław LVN at the beginning of 2018. The next stop was a performance at the iconic Das Lokal, from which the group of fans is still growing dynamically, along with a clear trace that it leaves behind on the club map of Poland. The effect of his promotions are the Ibiza Millenium, Popperboys, Aurōra and KWAS. He also carries out his musical mission as a co-host of the Strikt broadcast on the local Radio LUZ, where he broadens the horizons of the listeners with digger's sneak peak and professional language.
A lover of fast pace, grooving and energetic, emotional sounds. It is impossible to remain indifferent when you hear his beam of energy given in a coherent form, keeping the dance floor under hypnosis. Apart from all kinds of techno, in which he appreciates the old school sound the most, in favorable circumstances, he does not avoid trips towards house and electro.
