EktZ es un joven DJ apasionado por el techno. Sus sets, intensos y envolventes, se construyen a partir de los sonidos más oscuros y crudos del género, generando una vibra hipnótica y un ritmo constante cargado de energía. Cada mezcla está pensada para mantener el movimiento sin pausas, creando una sinergia única entre temas.

Tras explorar distintas vertientes del techno, fue en el vinilo donde encontró el formato que mejor se alinea con su manera de entender la música: físico, preciso y directo. En sus sesiones no hay espacio para el reposo; todo está orientado a sostener una tensión dinámica y mantener viva la pista.

Lejos de fórmulas predecibles, EktZ apuesta por un sonido propio, en constante evolución, siempre con la pista como objetivo principal.

EktZ is a young DJ passionate about techno. His sets, intense and immersive, are built from the genre’s darkest and rawest sounds, creating a hypnotic vibe and a steady, high-energy rhythm. Each mix is crafted to keep the momentum going without breaks, forging a unique synergy between tracks.

After exploring various branches of techno, he found in vinyl the format that best aligns with his way of understanding music: physical, precise, and direct. There is no room for rest in his sessions; everything is aimed at sustaining dynamic tension and keeping the dancefloor alive.

Far from predictable formulas, EktZ strives for a sound of his own constantly evolving, with the dancefloor always at the center.

In anticipation of his upcoming extended set on May 17th at The Distillery in London, we’re thrilled to feature none other than the incredible Ruben Ganev as the second guest on our podcast series.

Ruben Ganev is a Bulgarian sound designer, producer, tutor, performer, and label owner with nearly two decades of experience in sonic craftsmanship. Born in Sofia in 1987 with Armenian heritage, he began experimenting with sound in 2005 and later honed his skills in the UK, graduating in Sound Design from the University of the Arts London in 2011. Influenced by his classical music background and diverse musical tastes, Ganev developed a distinct style that culminated in the founding of his Berlin-based label, mould.audio, in 2020. His productions, praised for their depth and maturity, have gained recognition from top-tier artists and are regularly played in premier clubs and festivals worldwide, including Berghain and Tresor. In 2023, he released music on the esteemed Reclaim Your City label. Now based in Sofia, Ganev continues to produce, release music, and tutor aspiring producers through his individual courses.

'I wanted this set to feel like a kind of journey, where the tension keeps building and eventually finds its release at the end. While playing, I tried to select tracks that would make the set as progressive as possible, but also reflect my style and showcase which productions and which artists fit it best — as well as the ones I simply enjoy. The first half of the set leans more towards hypnotic and groovy vibes, while the second half also keeps the groove but turns much heavier and darker, making the whole set feel like a journey into darkness, into the unknown...'.

Hailing from Toruń and active on the scene since March 2024, MGSK has quickly been building his career with dynamic, energetic, and groove-driven sets. Despite his relatively short time on the scene, he has already made his presence felt in clubs in Toruń, Bydgoszcz, Olsztyn, Łódź and Gdańsk, sharing the decks with artists such as vitcat, Penera, and Siasia, while gaining increasing recognition among the techno scene. His constant drive for more led, in a short time, to the creation of the 'Nocturna' collective and event series, alongside his friend @meeseeks_dj, with a focus on showcasing the diversity of techno. His sets are always fast-paced and energetic, often diving into the heavier and darker realms of techno and trance, where he loves to experiment.

'A little over an hour of what I love the most – fast, rolling hardgroove. From lighter tracks to heavier and more hypnotic ones. I tried to capture what I truly love about this music – the groove, the drive, and the emotion that flows without words'.

I go by MVRI. It all started with my first rave – I saw the powerful connection between the DJ and the crowd, and I knew right then that this is what I wanted to do. A few weeks later, I got my first gear and started learning how to play. Since then, I’ve played in multiple clubs and co-founded the hardgroove project TŁUM.

The podcast includes tracks from artists like Gnomen, co:co, P.E.A.R.L, Deas, Filtrack, Alarico and a few others in a similar vibe'.

Izabela Fortuna – a techno DJ based in Warsaw, currently getting into music production. She learned and grew at @instytuttechno Dźwięku, where @nakedrelaxing helped her gain confidence and see music from a different angle. She has played at clubs like Willa, Prozak 2.0, Balance Klub. In her sets she’s into digging out less obvious tracks but stays open to whatever fits the vibe.
