Good morning Stephan 😊

➢Tell us what song puts you in a good mood when you wake up in the morning?

Good morning dear all! I like it smooooth and lazy in the morning. It can be some TripHop sounds from my favourite musicians Boozoo Bajou or some dreamy downtempo tunes. I don't have a favourite musician in our genre, I like every one of you <3 <3

➢How did you come about your DJ alias Lockige Ostsee?

Oh, hehe :D Years ago I had some more hair on my head and it´s getting curly with the length over 5cm. And I was born, raised and still live at the Baltic sea. It´s hard to find a perfect name, either a DJ name or a track name, isn´t it? 😊 😊

➢ Where would be the best place to take us to enjoy a sunset in Rostock?

I think, one of the best places is the Rostock city harbour, where the mixtape-picture was made (by my lovely friend @ener-music ). But another nice spot is the beach in Rostock-Warnemünde, but there are too many people in my opinion :P 

➢ How has the music scene developed in Rostock over the last few years and could you recommend the listeners an event that you love or you might organize with your collective Faultierdisko?

The people in Mecklenburg-Vorpommern always say “Everything comes 100 year later in M-V” – like the music scene too :D Downtempo has just a little crowd in Rostock and the region. Even though there are many many beautiful musicians in MV. Think about Steffen Kirchhof, M.Rux, Klangstrom, Commander Love, Luett Matten, just to call some of them. A few of them do not live here anymore, but they all started here 😊

➢ Clubs and Festivals have started re-opening, where or what was the first event you attended?

My first gig after this corona time was at the beach in my new home area in Zingst. But my slothbrother Stelzenläufer and I will play at the beautiful 3000 Grad Festival next week. We can´t wait for it!!! 😊

➢ Lastly, regarding this mix you have done for us, can you tell us a little bit of your thought process behind choosing the tracks you chose? 

Ohyeah! Let us start smooth and lazy with the first few songs. Then we dive into a dreamy way – it´s the moment when the sun hits the water surface. After this, when it´s getting darker and darker, I will tune up with some faster slothdisco vibes before we heading into darker, deeper and “geile” music. After this, I will give you some better feelings to end this journey with a smile in your face 😊 😊

“What inspired me most are for sure the gigs I had over the last months”, says @arutani about his contribution to trndmsk’s Future Stars series. During these gigs he experienced many beautiful moments and met wonderful people. “To be honest I don’t release many mixtapes, therefore I thought it would be good to record something that would show what I’ve been playing during the last gigs.” Arutani retouched the last details of the songs in Tulum in Mexico: “I was very happy to be at home and able to work non-stop on this”, says the Venezuelan artist now living in Switzerland. The mixtape is titled “Denouement Of Love” and consists only of tracks produced by himself. (...)

The rāga saga is a series that acts as a cultural collectiva of our favourite artists from all over, each raga is an array of melodic structures with musical motifs, considered in the Indian tradition to have the ability to "colour the mind" and affect the emotions of the audience and this journey (raga) and this rāga comes from this fresh talent @dj_feldweg from Germany

It all began when DJ Feldweg was about 10 or 11 years old. Little Jan from Nordhessen heard the first CD with electronic music of the Loveparade in the 90’s, which his father always heard and it is was happened.  The fascination was in his mind. Since this key experience  he dreamed of to be an DJ. 
He was already an passionated music collector all the time in every kind of Genre, but especially electronic. 
A lot of time passed  and even his festival experiences changed his mind for awesome performances and multifarious great music stuff. 
The dream came true as he has met some DJ guys. With this new connection he has new opporttunities in theory and practice of mixing music. After a while he joined a new aspiring collective „Spulenigel“(2017) which is based in Gießen. With this background he got the possibility for his first Gigs on Open-Air raves and little clubs of Gießen.
His Idea of mixing music is like : „The sound has to groove and connect different Genres with each other!“
