Batwings is the musical project of James Edward, who writes, records and performs all arrangements. 

He self describes the musical style as sad-punk and is inspired by a wide range of musical influences from Placebo, to The Cure, The Dresden Dolls, Blur and even Johnny Cash. 

He is known in his local area of South East London for energetic live performances and thoughtful, entertaining and often political lyrics.

they're a band doing things as organically as possible, shucking off the modern
band format of content creation over artistic endeavour! They write the music they love, and
produce it without trends in mind.
