Rising out of Sri Lanka’s progressive house underground and making his debut on Ruben Karapetyan’s RKP is ANix JAy. As a DJ across his country’s vibrant nightlife for over a decade, it wasn’t until 2018 in which Colombo resident ANix JAy turned his hand to production, beginning with Ableton Live and Acid, a passion which would eventually lead to his artist debut in 2020. A series of releases for Another Life Music and Elastic Dimension would establish JAy’s nostalgic approach to the progressive genre, and propel him to future projects via AH Digital, Eat My Hat and MNL, while garnering support from some of the genre’s key tastemakers, most notably Hernan Cattaneo. With the first half of 2025 being one of ANix’s most prolific periods to date, the Colombo resident keeps that momentum flowing, making his RKP debut in grand fashion with ‘Crazy’, alongside a remix from Juan Ibanez.
