This is a hybrid bassdrum I made from two 808 and 909 samples 

My goal was to create a kick that combines the best of both worlds – the rich sub bass ooomph of the 808, and the powerful transient of the 909, which cuts through the mix much better than a soft 808.

I first used this kick on my 2020 Bedrock release "Burn Your Love" – check it out!

Synthesizers used: KORG MS-20 Mini, Moog Minitaur, Nord Drum 3P, Roland TR-8, Yamaha TX81Z, Akai Miniak.
Train sounds recorded from my open window on the second floor approx 50 meters from the tracks.

The lyrics is a bit of a mess, improvised as always, but  it goes something like this:
The train return to the track from where it started.
The engine shut down, one final gasp.

It scares me that its principal
It's scares me that it's logical
You know life has an end. 
You know you have your turn. 

Force feed feedback from the other side
Broken dreams and a challenge. 
You worked so hard to climb so high. 
You sacrificed so much to reach so little.

My Magic Armchair is a darkwave, electro band from Kungsbacka in Sweden. It consist of the members Björn Lager, Sanna Lager and Carl-Fredrik Koserius.
The band was mostly active during 1995 - 2005 when they released two democd's titled Always and In the cycle. They played live in Nyköping, Uppsala and Linköping between 2001 - 2003.  Björn Lager has continued to make music under the "My Magic Armchair" name releasing an unfinished track every other month or so on the bands Sound Cloud page or web page, sometimes with the support of Sanna or Carl.
Carl-Fredrik Koserius has played in various other bands such as the gothic band Shoggoth and the EBM/electro band C2. 
Björn Lager has played in the EBM band Project-X, created music for mental training/relaxation and a lot of other small projects.
