Remiks identiteta glazbeni je projekt udruge Metamedij koji se provodi u sklopu Metamedia Laba i glazbenog community studija Metamusic – kreativnih laboratorija Društvenog centra Rojc, čija je svrha lokalnim umjetnicima omogućiti uvjete za glazbenu produkciju. Projekt nastoji uspostaviti dijalog između tradicijske i suvremene glazbe, te istražuje mogućnosti komunikacije među društvima, kulturama, tradicijama, povijesnim razdobljima i smjerovima kroz suvremenu glazbu, remiksirajući tradicijsku glazbu sa suvremenom. Dijalog suvremenih glazbenih žanrova i tradicijskih napjeva Istre bila je tema i zadaća ovogodišnjeg izdanja projekta.

A good traveller has no fixed plans nor any intent on arriving to a final destination. From the first days of the Techno movement to scoring Hollywood films, Holeg Spies is known for breaking norms and creating immersive sonic creations for the listener to get lost in but even moreso to travel around within.
Pagans attempts to take you off the beaten track; to offer an unbridled musical search, unpredictable, a composition performed by an iconoclastic orchestra of classical, electronic and ancient instruments, woven through with improvisations roaming sound recordings... as a possible reconciliation between our hyper-connected society and the environment.
Meeting and spending time with the Hopi Indians and the Mongolian nomads sourced a deep inspiration behind the ‘Axis Mundi Reload’ project, a powerful musical collection to be released early 2022. Pagans is the second EP to be released ahead of the forthcoming album.
With remix collaborations by Pan Electric (aka Matt Coldrick of Green Nuns of the Revolution) and the legendary Total Eclipse, this Ep is truly a journey into another world.

This is the recording of a live set I did at the Ambyss stage at Ozora festival 2019 together with:
Bakai Marton - Violin
Kozma Hana - Violin
Cseglédi Zsombor - trumpet
Binod Katuwal - flute

All of the music was written especially for this performance and the musicians that played with me. There were a lot of experiments going on with long delays and looping of the instruments creating infinite layering sound worlds. A lot depended on the musicians an the sound and content of the performance would not be the same with the intuitive input from the musicians. For which i am extremely thankful!
Just days before the gig we also met Binod, a flute player from Nepal that joined the performance and it just completed it. We basically had one afternoon of talking over the structure and ideas with him and Marton and Hana jammed with him to get in tune, from there it just carried itself basically.

It was the first time I played together with so many musicians on my music and it was a lot of energy to get everybody together and get all my equipment over but it was all worth it in the end.

- beat structure with hana, marton and binod
- breakdown with marton on pizzicato violin
- beat structure with zsombor and recorded guitar
- looping ambient with zsombor
