The fourth Applied Magic release comes courtesy of Komenda, two alluring Süßboys from the flatlands of the North German Plain.

All tracks are unique in their own little way, just like the minds that created them. A manifestation of the idea that art must constantly move forward, that there are still new ideas and uncharted territories out there. You just have to seek them out.

Tunno could be best described as the sound of a dying dial-up modem, sending stuttering morse code to the depths of interplanetary space. Reminiscent of 90s bleep sound, warped and filtered through a prism of contemporary, cutting edge dance music.Guaranteed goosebump material!

356 really has its own pulse. 5 to the floor, straight yet broken, an everchanging, perpetually repeating mantra that just sticks in your head and never leaves you again. An unlikely earworm if you just let it catch you.

French hypertalent INVŌKER's remix for Tunno takes the original and wraps it up in a warm and cozy blanket. Classic Detroit pads meet a colorful, almost Balearic sound design with the monochromatic, angular original melody still shining through, transporting it from outer space to outside - somewhere near the beach.

The whole package is topped off with an artwork by David Kochs, who is not only a singular producer and DJ but obviously a really good designer as well.

Tash's Movement Recordings closes out 2023 by welcoming Bullzeye to the label for his debut EP. Beginning his journey as a DJ, Indian artist Siddhanth Kapoor aka Bullzeye quickly became a fixture of the country's nightlife. The Mumbai resident emerged over two decades ago and would go on to perform alongside Carl Cox, Dixon, Eric Prydz and more; while headlining premiere festivals such as Awakenings, Enchanted Valley Carnival, Sunburn, VH1 Supersonic and more. Eventually finding his way into production, Bullzeye notched his first release four years ago via Submarine Vibes, a two-track EP which would set the course for future offerings via Click Records, Frenetica and Minitech Recordings. Now, stepping up for the most anticipated project of his career, Bullzeye adds Movement Recordings to his resume with 'Kreature', alongside a remix from Simina Grigoriu. The title selection 'Kreature' finds Bullzeye operating at his creative peak with a production rich in character and groove. Creating a confident energy from the outset, its rhythmic drive is anchored by tough kick drums, rippling basslines and flashing percussive arrangements, tastefully building to a wild-eyed intensity of growling synths and hypnotic arps. With a breakdown that exudes spirit, Bullzeye pulls from his expansive repertoire, infusing a tension-filled overlay with ominous vocal samples, resulting in a perfect prelude for a powerful drop and heads down finale. Now, fresh off a contribution to Drumcode's A-Sides, Vol. 12 collection, Simina debuts on Movement Recordings with a powerful rendition of 'Padrobotic'. Staying true to the harder edge of the origina,l Simina takes square aim at the dancefloor, increasing tempo and pace, while adding acid gates, orbiting effects and an uplifting break to spearhead a finale that is equal parts tough and emotive.

Opening a new year and following on from their line for the dance floor with powerful progressive basses, of melodic house and techno, Mycelium presents Shern for one of his debut EP´s. From Medellin Colombia, a city that actually has one of the strongest electronic scenes in Latin America, Santiago aka Shern is growing producer and DJ who plays frequently.
The EP is called Eternal Universe, two words that don´t have finish, and that was his inspiration to made it. Eternal, the first track, has pulsating melodies and basses, constructed with some voice samples. Its breakdown has and architecture who calls for calm but developing to an energetic build up, with a drop prepared to the dance floor. 
Universe, uses a strong and melancholic vibe, using a bass who has moves in musical scale. The melodies are Dynamic and dance with the bass. Orchestral chords in the breakdown, mixed with Deep melodies, finish in a deep burst, and invites the crowd to continue dancing.
