Moritz Hofbauer, the talented artist signed to Fckng Serious, is currently experiencing an extraordinary rise in his career. He captivates audiences with his live performances, impresses at renowned festivals, and consistently releases a large number of songs. For his upcoming single, "Time Of My Life," the Mannheim-based artist has enlisted the support of renowned collaborators. Santé and Cherry (UA) have crafted exceptional remixes for "Time Of My Life." Santé, a standout musician, was deeply inspired by the song, resulting in the creation of two distinct remixes. Both remixes were so compelling that we promptly made the decision to release them both. But the excitement doesn't end there! The talented newcomer, Cherry (UA), contributes an additional remix to "Time Of My Life," a track that will undoubtedly find its way into the playlists of numerous clubs, festivals, and open-air events.
The original song features a lovely piano melody accompanied by sweet female vocals during the breakdown. The rhythm is driven by a forward rolling 16th bassline, creating a captivating groove. Playful Kalimba sounds interact with a prominent synth lead, engaging in an answer/response dynamic. Lastly, in a stunning finale, the Kalimba takes over the piano melody, delivering a powerful and memorable conclusion to the track.
We eagerly await the release of Moritz Hofbauer's next single, which will be available worldwide at the end of July. In the meantime, we extend our sincere appreciation to Santé and Cherry (UA) for their exceptional remixes, which have added an extra dimension of creativity and excitement to "Time Of My Life“. This song began by Steve writing it on his acoustic guitar, singing it, and passing the recording on to me to share with the rest of the Eclectic Collective. Tez was first to add his complimentary guitar in his typical expert fashion. Ken then added his very tasteful drums. Soon after. I worked my bass part until it was dialed in. After the Rhythm section was solid, JJ came along and sprinkled his organ magic throughout. Then, for good measure, I added some lap steel, too.
  Of course, every great song needs a great producer, and Tez was the man for the job on this one. Steve is a fantastic singer and songwriter. We all feel very lucky that he so generously shares his talent and work with us. We hope you enjoy listening to this as much as we enjoyed making it.

Love is All Around (Eclectic Collective with Steve's Planet)

According to St. Bede, Ceolfrith set out from his monastery on 4 June 716, a thursday. Among the things he took with him was an enormous book, a gift he intended to deliver at his earthly destination. The giant book Ceolfrith took with him, now known as Codex Amiatinus, is the oldest surviving, complete Latin Bible in the world.  Ceolfrith took one of the three giant bibles written in the Wermouth monastery, where he was the abbot, as a gift for St Peter’s shrine in Rome. " ... and got on a horse, speeding away from the land of the Angles to the lands where, with a freer and purer spirit for contemplating angels, he might be delivered to Heaven".
On 12 August Ceolfrith "reached the lands of Gaul", where he was received with honour by King Chilperic himself. The party then travelled over land. Ceolfrith went part of the way on horseback and part of the way being carried on a litter, as he was becoming ill. He reached Langres around 9am on 25 September. He died there on 29 September 716.
