‘Cola’ had barely touched the ground when tastemakers’ ears were pricking up across the board. Having become a byword for quality house music, remaining at the #1 Beatport spot for over a month with their last record, the name CamelPhat and the cult status of the mysterious duo behind it become realised to their fullest with this track. Combining lush, saturated beats with Elderbrook’s crystalline voice which elevates and equalises, ‘Cola’ is an exquisitely sophisticated firecracker. Already snapped up by Danny Howard as his Hottest Record on Radio 1 and championed by the likes of MK, Solomun and Sam Divine, the track demonstrates the full strength of CamelPhat’s unique style and takes them into the upper echelons of today’s finest producers.

Bedouin is the Brooklyn-based production and DJ partnership between nomads Rami Abousabe and Tamer Malki. Bringing their unique spell of melodies and rhythms to Crosstown Rebels, they deliver their cover version of the famous Pink Floyd classic, Set The Controls For The Heart Of The Sun. Guy Gerber also steps in to deliver a deeply mystical dance floor remix.

Sharing an eclectic sonic vision that pulls from diverse influences owing to their Middle Eastern heritage, Western upbringing, and world travels, here Bedouin deliver some of their best productions to date. “Getting the chance to play the song to Pink Floyd’s drummer Nick Mason personally and him liking it was very exciting for us. We're also happy to have the very talented and our good friend Guy Gerber to be the first ever to remix one of our tracks. The b-side, ‘Guacamole’, is an original track conceived in Mexico and made for the dance floor.”

In 2016, as well as touring the world extensively, Bedouin curated a compilation entitled Kindisch Stories and had the honour of recording an Essential Mix for Pete Tong’s BBC Radio 1 show. 2017 saw the launch of their brand SAGA at Heart Ibiza, where they turn Ibiza Sundays into a mirage of musical odysseys. Guy Gerber also runs his highly successful Rumors party in Ibiza on Sundays, which takes the same name as his acclaimed record label.

Exciting rising talent Oscar L makes his debut on Truesoul. The Spanish artist has been whiling his craft for over a decade, with recent standout releases on Suara and Elevate. He's inducted into the pantheon of Truesoul artists with a plump three-tracker titled 'Konfusion', the cuts featuring in recent episodes of Drumcode Live and marking Oscar L as one to watch for fans. The title track 'Konfusion' is a punchy peak-time cut, packed full of energy that's driven by a tension-inducing build up, while still maintaining the essential groove-ridden appeal that Truesoul is renowned for. A track that encapsulated the delicious chugging swing of Adam Beyer's recent Cavo Paradiso gig in Mykonos. The package ensures its versatility with 'Together'; With a cheeky '90s house vocal, stunning subterranean drums and rousing atmospheric break that proved a stunning highlight when Beyer dropped it at Loveland Festival in August. Concluding with 'Synesthesia', the track is marked by fierce drum work and a rippling dubby bassline, a rich sensory stimulation for the eardrums, staying true to its name.

Barnt and Stephan Bodzin, two artists whose stand-out performances at recent Afterlife events have made them firm favourites with the crowds, are tapped for the remixes of Tale Of Us & Vaal's latest single 'Monument' (AL006). They both take on the title track, Barnt opting for a rolling, percussive direction and Bodzin more ethereal and transportive. For the digital-only third contribution, Adriatique (the Swiss duo of Adrian Schweizer and Adrian Shala) give the drums some extra punch and cloak the vocal in spacey reverb.

The third instalment of the popular Prospekt series is here, with half a dozen fresh cuts from rising names.
The first stop is Russia, for Optimuss' contribution. "The Lower Bound" is a deeply sinister number, with a dark, minimalistic hook and polished, snappy drums. In contrast, "Miridian" pairs less aggressive (but still damn tight!) drums with an evolving, drifting arpeggio to hypnotic effect.
The second slot is occupied by punchy parisian Hugh Hill, with the acid monster "Face Off" and it's more stripped-back sibling "Against".
Finally, Chipi & Rimles deliver the rave-flavoured "CH707" and the huge buildup and modulated groove of "Reflexion"

After an intense summer season Great Stuff is slowly but steadily gravitating back to the clubs and away from the festival dancefloors. We got the perfect transition EP therefor and it comes from Egypt born Ayman Awad - it is called “Africanos EP”. 

Ayman lives in Austria and has been active in the Austrian dance music scene for over a decade, he is also one of the three finalists of BURN Residency 2016, and performed at world renowned clubs Café Mambo’s, Sankey’s and Privilege. During the competition, he was mentored by the likes of Carl Cox, Dubfire and Uner, and was given a weekly radio slot on Ibiza’s very own Ibiza Sonica station.

His fresh four-tracker consists of infectious and reliable house and tech house grooves. From the intense sweeping filters and tribal vibes of “Africanos“ to the more playful, vocal drenched “Why” composition, Ayman covers all angles of what current dance music should sound like. In between those tracks are “Got You” and “Raw” both more dark and mischievous, with grittier sounding low frequencies. The whole thing is sure to make nightclubs go wild.
