With their debut EP Losing Gravity, Rise of Apollon continue with what they started with Odyssee, their first release as part of the first label compilation by Clouds Records.

Losing Gravity puts on display a wide array of Rise Of Apollon´s skillset while taking the listener on an unexpected journey with a bunch of musical twists and turns.

Spatially separated from each other due to the pandemic the duos music reflects on some darker facets of life. Five original tracks channel their passion for melancholic and driving music and establish a unique style within deep melodic techno. Es gibt Klänge, die sich wie ein Heilbalsam um unsere Denkstränge legen, die uns die Knoten aus dem Kopf kämmen und mit denen sich spontan ein inneres Gleichgewicht einstellt. Die Handpan ist ein wunderbares Beispiel dafür. Im Track Asura haben Elias Dore & Acado das Instrument mit dem gemächlichen Stampfen und den verträumten Eskalationen elektronischer l(langerzeugung kombiniert. Der Remix von Mollono.Bass geht etwas mehr nach vorne, lässt dabei aber ganz viel Raum für die meditativen Frequenzen der Handpan. Und KlangDruide interpretiert den Titel in Form einer entrückten Zeitlupenaufnahme. Der zweite Track Wadeeh basiert auf einer tiefgründigen Melodiestruktur und kommt mit ordentlich Schwung und dem einen oder anderen Spitzenzeit-Merkmal daher. Im Remix von lnnacircle verwandelt sich dieser Titel in eine psychedelische Abfahrt mit tribalistischen Trommeleinlagen.

There are sounds that act on the mind like a healing balm, that untie the tangle of our everyday
worries, that re-establish our inner balance in an instant. The handpan is wonderful example. In their track Asura, Elias Dore & Acado combine the instrument with the slow stomp and dreamy escalations of a synthesized electronic groove. The remix of Mollono.Bass has a bit more forward thrust, while keeping a lot of audio space for the meditative frequencies of the handpan to unfold. And l(langDruide interprets the title in the form of an enraptured slow motion recording. The second track Wadeeh is built upon a deep melodic structure and has a lot of momentum and many characteristics of a peak time tune. The remix of lnnacircle turns this into a psychedelic departure

Blindfold Recordings are set to kick off 2020 with the return of their Night Vision compilation series. Now in its third edition, the Night Vision idea is to capture upcoming and "established" artists to shine a light on all the talent that is hiding in plain sight.

Yubik leads the way with 'Haunted Mirror’, a deep, dark and moody production that sets the tone of the Blindfold Recordings family. Ivory brings the rolling hats and echoing melodies with ‘Montauk’ before label co-owners Baime up the energy further with ‘Helion’. Arude offer up a trippy progressive cut with ‘Illusion’ driven by pulsing bass and warped chopped vocals, followed by the second half of Blindfold Recordings, Pete Oak, with ‘Lokye’, a mesmerising piece that rolls throughout with rich vocals provided by the main man himself and surging synths. ‘Vultora’ by Luegoh is the penultimate offering, featuring rattling percussion and darting lead lines, the perfect pathway to ’Samhain’ by Innacircle, who once again lowers the tone with warehouse worthy drums and eerie top lines.
