It is not to be seen on its own, but as part of a journey I have to live through since my diagnosis. Each track tells a piece of this path – honest, raw, and unfiltered.

The second Round

This album by Captain Dreadbone describes a tragedy.

Across the rim of the galaxy, two brothers walk opposite sides of the law — one bound by duty, the other by desire.
Blood and Stardust follows their trail through five chapters: the hunt through the void, a near-fatal standoff, a return from the brink, the final duel beneath Io’s cold suns, and a quiet reckoning in a cell among the stars.

The lawman tracked the outlaw to a moon with no air,
An old freight yard rustin’ under solar glare.
No sound but static and his boots on steel,
A ghost on the wind, a pulse he could feel.

He’d chased this man from star to star,
Through nebula storms and the edge of war.
Now the trail ran cold where the shadows pooled,
One last stand—one last fool.

Iron in the dust, sparks in the wire,
One wrong breath and the world’s on fire.
He drew too slow, the light cut clean,
Red on silver, the end unseen.

A plasma bolt screamed across the floor,
Tore through the wall, left an open door.
He saw the outlaw grin through the smoke,
Said, “Should’ve stayed gone, friend—law’s a joke.”

He fired once, then twice again,
Echoes rang through the oxygen vents.
A flash, a twist—then silence deep,
And the stars outside didn’t miss a beat.

He hit the ground, lungs full of ash,
Blood bloomed black in the helmet’s glass.
The outlaw’s boots walked out of frame,
Left his name burned in the data chain.

No sermons here, no badge to shine,
Just driftin’ lights and a flatline sign.
The lawman’s voice on the radio cried,
“Justice don’t breathe where the stars have died.”
