The East Bay supergroup Armstrongs is made up of Billie Joe (Green Day), Tim (Operation Ivy/Rancid/Transplants), Joey (SWMRS), and Rey Armstrong. The song, “If There Was Ever A Time,” is featured in the film Turn It Around: The Story of East Bay Punk.

My Left Foot is a political hardcore band that formed in the early ’90s. The band’s name was inspired by Daniel Day-Lewis’s breakout film My Left Foot.
Heavily influenced by the skatepunk scene in their early days, the band evolved into a more sophisticated power quartet, adopting a sound that became more socially conscious, aggressive, and politically charged.
Lyrically, they draw inspiration from writers like Greg Graffin, Fat Mike, Ian MacKaye, and Chris Hannah. Their sound is a unique blend shaped by nearly 30 years in the punk and hardcore scene—making them hard to classify. They play fast, raw, melodic, and aggressive all at once.
In the 2000s, they carved out a place for themselves in Madrid's local punk scene. Some members were also part of the Slide Chorus collective. Over the years, My Left Foot built a solid live reputation, performing across Spain for over a decade. They also had the chance to open for many of their musical heroes. The band has shared the stage with both local and international acts such as Midtown (2006), Strike Anywhere (2007), A Wilhelm Scream, Lagwagon (2006), Anti-Flag (2010), Whippersnapper, Skin of Tears, Runt, Voodoo Glow Skulls, G.A.S. Drummers, Fonzie, Belvedere, and many more.
