On this debut album from Myles & the Longshots (formerly Tammy Lynn & Myles High) the husband and wife team of Tammy Lynn and Mike Myles reach back in time to the roots of rock, swing, R&B and rockabilly for influence, and then add their own modern twist to that early rock sound to create music that is at once both fresh and timeless. 

Sharing lead vocal duties, along with ample close harmony work, these two deliver a diverse and complex musical palette.

With a range that runs the gamut from soulful R&B on the original title track Turn My Music On, to the country ballad style of Box It Came In, or raucous rock of Good Rockin' Tonight, Tammy Lynn brings both technical vocal mastery and deep emotional conviction to every performance.

Her partner in crime, Mr. Myles has a raw & energetic vocal approach to match the intensity of his guitar sound on original compositions Maryann & Sweet As My Baby. From his six string you can hear influences ranging from Chuck Berry to Carl Perkins, Link Wray, Magic Sam, Scotty Moore, and Brian Setzer.

On this record the duo worked with other top shelf musicians, including: "Sax" Gordon Beadle, Rick Rousseau, Jon Ross, Travis Colby, Bruce Hilton, Ray Himmer, Johann Hass, and the late Charlie Dent - to create one hell of a great no-nonsense Rock & ROll record!
