Born and raised in the heart of Belize, 24-year-old hip-hop artist Jermaine Flowers, aka Bandz, is working to put his city on the map with his music. 

Bandz became infatuated with the music scene at a very young age. So much in fact, that he chose to watch shows like BET’s 106 and Park over cartoons. Later on in life, he met people who had the same interest as him and took up DJ-ing for nightclubs and radio stations. He immediately discovered that mixing music wasn’t enough; he wanted to make it. With this new found love, he aimed to be one of the best. 

In his ever-changing world, music was the only thing he held on to. With influences like Drake and Big Sean, Bandz formed a unique hip-hop and R&B sound with a message and a purpose. Bandz didn’t grow up in the most fortunate or wealthiest family, and hopes to be in a position where he could not only help his family financially, but also inspire, motivate and uplift.
