Over the last two decades, Above & Beyond’s Anjunabeats label has launched the careers of some of the most respected names in electronic music: Andrew Bayer, ARTY, Audien, ilan Bluestone, Seven Lions and Mat Zo, to name just a few. In January 2021, the label launched Anjunabeats Rising: a new EP series highlighting the next generation of producers and championing emerging artists from around the world.

Bexxie, CloudNone and Hausman feature on the latest edition of the series, Anjunabeats Rising Volume 11.

Rebecca Clements, aka Bexxie, has been producing and DJing since the 1990s. Influenced by modern techno, early 90’s hardcore and tech house, her music has been supported by David Guetta, Mark Knight, Sam Felft and Jax Jones. ‘In Your Hands’ is the first of several releases for Bexxie on Anjunabeats over the coming months.

CloudNone is an enigmatic figure with impressive credentials. Supported by Tiesto, Oliver Heldens and Martin Garrix, he’s amassed several million streams on Spotify with his releases on Monstercat and has supported Illenium and Said The Sky on tour. He brings his breakbeat-inspired sound to the label with ‘Pressure’.

Berklee College of Music graduate Devon Ausman, aka Hausman, rounds off the EP with ‘Control’. A finalist in Mat Zo and Olan’s remix competition, his rework of ‘Problems’ was released on Anjunabeats in summer 2021. Devon has previously released on Monstercat Silk, Enhanced Progressive and Myon’s Ride Recordings imprint.

Anjunabeats Rising Volume 11 is out now on Anjunabeats.

We are thrilled here at Shores to revisit a track from UK-based label veteran Skua with a fantastic new mix for 2021.

First released in 2017 as part of our Coastal Selections 005 compilation, this magnificent tune has been updated to give it a new lease of life. Skua’s ’21 mix entwines the superb chord progression with amazing melodies and gorgeous lilting guitars and pianos with beautiful haunting vocal shots. Joining Skua on this release are Canada-based artists Andrew Lang and Nipika, both of whom have created stunning remixes of this melody-driven beauty. Andrew’s remix drenches the original in lush guitar-driven textures with a dazzling breakdown whilst Nipika’s remix maximises the melodies with sumptuous piano layers and shimmering arps.
 
Delivering a euphoric return to a melodic masterpiece here on Shores, this is Skua (with Andrew Lang and Nipika) and his incredible ’21 mix of “Plume”.

For our 5th release we present a tune that will undoubtedly remain in the memory forever, by the talented producer Joe Fares, he delivers us 'midnight', full of emotion both in melody, voices and in every moment of the track, purely perfect for your collection and your heart.
In addition, this release is accompanied by 3 remixes, the first is from the new Axis-Y alias called 'Atmospherika' that gives us a substantial progressive change with a deep touch to the original track, with an atmosphere that brings warmth and harmony that only the night offers. The second is from a new talent 'Vcis64' that lowers the BPM a little bit but not the feel, taking a lot of the emotion from the original track and creating his own 'halogen' muse where the chords will transport you to another dimension. And the third remix is taken by VEIZO who creates a surprising uplifting version with a delicate piano, powerful bassline and a lead that screams emotion all the time.
