Reigning from Cleveland, Ohio, HP is a real MC. Growing up in Clevland's inner city, he learned early that he had a silver tongue. He wrote poetry and stories in grammar school."I always loved music since the womb so it was only natural I started rappin. I was 9 the first time I wrote a rhyme and in the 7th grade when I recorded my first song." What do you expect from someone influenced by Nas, Tupac, Notorious B.I.G., and Eminem.Having moved from 'hood to 'hood, this lyricist showed power in his pen. He finally laid roots on Cleveland's westside, getting nothing but love and respect from the 'hood he represented. In junior high he became known as Hollo, due to his reputation.However it was revamped to reflect his depth and profound vocabulary. In high school, Hollo, along with his classmates, formed the rap group known as Kings Of Spittin. K.O.S.(what they were often called) established themselves as a formidable force in the Cleveland underground hip hop scene. Having openned for national acts and performing in monthly showcases, K.O.S. created a nice buzz. This catapulted them to "Best New Artist/Group" nomination at the Ohio Hip Hop Awards. Hollo stuck out like a sore thumb, with his deep voice and multi-syllabic flow. This was all while Hollo was attending Cuyahoga Community College for Audio Engineering. His role as a recording artist was put on hiatus to become a certified engineer/producer. This gave him the opportunity to produce, record, and mix numerous regional and international acts in multiple genres. He received an Associate's Degree in 2013, while establishing P Akoustks and changing his name to HP (so to not be confused with the battle rapper of the same name). Currently, He working with his production team on his solo project. A lyricist, poet, storyteller, MC, and entertainer-HP is the reality in a fantasy driven industry. "So this is for the music listeners so just listen up."

Tae Hood grew up around older peers who made songs to address beefs they had with other neighborhoods around Cleveland. He was fascinated with the witty banter, and grew to love it. It wasn’t until about a year ago, though, that he started to seriously entertain a career in music.
