Josephine Odhil continues her exploration of humanity’s darker impulses with this hypnotic track. ‘In The Dark’ is the third single from her upcoming album, crafted with Maurits Nijhuis and Joost van Eck at the underground Studio Karakterbak.

Amsterdam based Josephine Odhil is a creator in the truest sense of the word, seamlessly blending music and visual art while drawing inspiration from the world around her. She has supported Altın Gün on tour and performed at festivals such as Motel Mozaique and Oerol. Following the release of her debut album Volatile she dove into a year-long exploration of evil through literature and cinema, keenly observing the darker aspects of the human psyche. The result: an intriguing sonic experience that resonates with dark tourists, true crime aficionados, and Pop Noir enthusiasts. Collaborating with Maurits Nijhuis and Joost van Eck, she recorded and produced the album at Studio Karakterbak—a studio that is quite literally underground. 

Empathy, Ennui and In The Dark are singles from the forthcoming album ‘Monstera’, set for release in April 2025.
