The celebration of the Autumnal Equinox, Harvest Home, Mabon, the Feast of the Ingathering, is a modern Pagan ritual of thanksgiving for the fruits of the earth and a recognition of the need to share them to secure the blessings of the Goddess and the God during the coming winter months. The name Mabon was coined by Aidan Kelly around 1970 as a reference to Mabon ap Modron, a character from Welsh mythology. Majesty

Rather than follow the traditional path for this classic Christmas song we decided to change the words just a bit so the story is quicker paced than usual and told in the present tense. The message is eternal and unchanging and we hope our acoustic folk version will express it as well as any other version has for generations. Wishing everyone a very joyful Christmas 2022!
