Myron & E with the Soul Investigators.

The road to soul by Northern Cali's Myron & E (Myron Glasper and Eric "E da Boss" Cooke) ran through hip-hop first.  They met while on tour with Oakland's Blackalicious - Cooke was teh tour DJ and Glasper sang backup - and bonded over a love of classic soul music.

While on a separate tour through Finland, a chance encounter led Cooke to an impromptu jam session with members of The Soul INvestiagors, whose work with singer Nicole Willis helped define them as one of Europe's foremost retro-soul bands.  Producer Didler Selin was impressed enough to leave Cooke with several Soul INvestigator tracks.  Back in the Bay Area, he recruited Glasper as a songwriting/vocal team and the collaboration had begun.

Myron & E with the Soul investigators released a string of limited edition 45s which radiated such an authentic soul vibe that they were embraced through Europe and America, and caught on with the low-rider scene in California.

In the past year, the team focused on building its live show and perfecting its debut album, Broadway, now being released on Stones Throw Records.

While touring in Finland behind his solo project, E found himself in an impromptu jam session with members of The Soul Investigators, whose work with singer Nicole Willis helped define them as one of Europe's foremost retro-soul bands. “I don’t really think there’s anybody else that can do it as good as they can,” E says about the band. “They do it like none other.” While on the road with the Bay Area’s Blackalicious E recruited Myron as a singing and songwriting partner, and Myron & E was born.

Alongside The Soul Investigators, the duo released a string of funk 45s on the Timmion label — starting with 2008’s “Cold Game”/”I Can’t Let You Get Away” — before signing with Stones Throw last year. Since then, Myron & E have been focused on building their live performance, which includes sold-out shows and a stellar showing at SXSW. 

This summer Myron & E are proud to be releasing their debut album, Broadway.

Carmine Bainmass è nato ad Ercolano NA, dove ha iniziato a suonare il basso elettrico con diverse band locali, poi si è innamorato dell'hip hop e del fatto di fare musica usando i dischi. Da lì a comprare un Akai e un pacco di vinili da campionare ci ha messo poco. 
Alla fine degli anni '90 si è trasferito a Modena dove è entrato nella Fetish Funk CREW di dj Monsa (R.I.P) e dj T-Robb, poi insieme a Dj T-Robb ha suonato con il nome di 20 Dita CREW facendo diversi Mixtape. 
Dal 2005 in poi ha partecipato a diverse compilation italiane, tra cui: BEAT IT vol.I, WE DIG -BeatTape, Zcatness, Life is Beatful e varie uscite per i The Beatfonics Crew (Yusef Lateef Session, Beatxploitation, 2nd Anniversary, Lonnie Liston Smith Session, Ethnic Session).   
Tra i suoi beat tape nel 2013 ha realizzato BLOWOUT uscito per l'HHabitat Record dei Bluesteady Triptik, MOVE per la Passion Junkies Lab di Fugu e nel 2015 Love Tribute Ep per Inyourears label.
