The dance steps follow one after the other, the sneakers smoke, the bodies sweat, welcome in the secret playground !

Welcome to the talented Jason Core on the imprint. The spanish producer gives to the eponym track a more Italo way, giving extra energy. And when the acid wave breaks, it’s crazy !

BIO
Bonnie Spacey, French and Marseille based Dj/Producer, has been rocking the dance floors since 2016.

She had her musical light bulb moment after hearing Miss Kittin & The Hacker for the first time.
It was the turn of the millennium and this introduction led her to dive deeper and deeper into electronic music. When she eventually decided to pursue it herself, as a DJ and producer, she began to pair these sounds with another of her formative influences, her intrinsic love of guitars, which was passed down through her guitarist father.

She explores the intersection of these sounds though indie dance, heady techno and dark disco, in both her DJ sets and her own output. « Don’t », her first single, was an immediate success and played by Dixon, Jennifer Cardini and many others. Since then, she accumulated numerous releases on serious labels such as Phisica, Jeahmon! And Lumière Noire to name a few. This led her to perform on prestigious international clubs such as the Kaputt Club (Bogota), Bar Oriente (Mexico), Sisyphos and Renate (Berlin), Sala Upload (Barcelona) or Club Control (Bucarest).

As a space to share her own music and those of likeminded artists, in 2019 she launched Critical Monday, a label dedicated to a club-ready concoction of techno and rock-orientated music. So far she’s welcomed the likes of Curses, Rafael Cerato, Shubostar, Tony Y Not, Günce Aci and Mala Ika to the imprint, all of whom share her love of these potent sonics.

This time with Dj & Producer Florian Herzberg aka My Secret Playground from Berlin.

BIO
Again and again Florian Herzberg – the mastermind behind My Secret Playground – is drawn to his hometown Vienna. A city full of old glory and vanity, a spirit of optimism and standstill in the same way. On his releases the now Berlin-based producer combines these peculiarities in Electro and modern sounding 80s tracks. Rolling aggressive beats are replaced by broad synths and strings. Pounding kick drums paired with nostalgic vocal lines and vocoders make the leap into the 21st century and give My Secret Playgrounds an own contemporary Indie Dance sound.

For more than a decade Florian has been based out of Berlin; in the German capital, he has not only found his unique musical voice – but emotional solidity within his greatest passion.
2014 he launched his live music project ‘My Secret Session’, an event where DJs and musicians improvise live together to dance music. Through this session he was able to shape the unique organic sound width of My Secret Playground and also work with the best musicians in town. Since then Florian has been performing internationally as a DJ and with his band, creating a variety of sounds that sets him apart from the rest.

His track „Wir Tanzen“ on Rabotat Records, combined with the viral video during Quarantine 2020, followed by his EP „Fears of Tears„, on Melopee Records, pushed My Secret Playground to a wider audience. His latest releases have all made it into the Beatport Indie Charts Top100. His latest tracks have been released on Jeahmon! and Sincopat.

Since 2022 Florian organizes the hedonistic Party Theme Whipped Cream – a colorful dance soiree with artists like Freundthal, Vlad Yaki, Bizzarro Universe or Myrddin.

My Secret Playground releases on labels such as Melopee Records, Sincopat, Jeahmon!, and Rabotat Records.

From Vienna to Berlin - 10 years on, but the journey has only just begun!

Florian Herzberg - the mastermind behind My Secret Playground - founded the project in 2007 in Vienna. The debut EP No Excuses was released in 2008, followed by numerous film music productions for the ORF, remix projects and national performances. For the past 8 years,  Florian has been based out of Berlin; in the German capital, he has not only found his unique musical voice - but emotional solidity within his greatest passion.

Herzberg is one of many important minds within the Berlin live music scene today. In 2014, he launched his live music project ‘My Secret Session’, an event where DJs and musicians improvise live together to dance music. Since then, more than 130 artists have participated regularly at My Secret Session shows in Berlin, Hamburg, and throughout Germany. My Secret Playground’s lineup for his first LP Sounds Of A Decade includes the best of these musicians from these sessions.

A BERLIN MELANGE

Again and again Florian Herzberg – the mastermind behind My Secret Playground – is drawn to his hometown Vienna. A city full of old glory and vanity, a spirit of optimism and standstill in the same way. On his releases the now Berlin-based producer combines these peculiarities in Electro and modern sounding 80s tracks. Rolling aggressive beats are replaced by broad synths and strings. Pounding kick drums paired with nostalgic vocal lines and vocoders make the leap into the 21st century and give My Secret Playgrounds an own contemporary Indie Dance sound. 

For more than a decade Florian has been based out of Berlin; in the German capital, he has not only found his unique musical voice – but emotional solidity within his greatest passion.
2014 he launched his live music project ‘My Secret Session’, an event where DJs and musicians improvise live together to dance music. Through this session he was able to shape the unique organic sound width of My Secret Playground and also work with the best musicians in town. Since then Florian has been performing internationally as a DJ and with his band, creating a variety of sounds that sets him apart from the rest.

His track „Wir Tanzen“ on Rabotat Records, combined with the viral video during Quarantine 2020, followed by his EP „Fears of Tears„, on Melopee Records, pushed My Secret Playground to a wider audience. His latest releases have all made it into the Beatport Indie Charts Top100. 

Since 2022 Florian organizes the hedonistic Party Theme Whipped Cream – a colorful dance soiree with artists like Freundenthal, Vlad Yaki, Bizzarro Universe or Myrddin.

My Secret Playground releases on labels such as Melopee Records, Sincopat, Jeahmon! and Rabotat Records.
