Again and again Florian is drawn to his hometown Vienna. A city full of old glory and vanity, a spirit of optimism and standstill in the same way. On his new EP "NOSTALGIA", the now Berlin-based producer combines these opposites in three Electro and typical 1980s tracks. Rolling aggressive beats are replaced by broad synths and strings. Pounding kick drums paired with nostalgic vocal lines make the leap into the 21st century and give My Secret Playgrounds EP its own contemporary Indie Dance sound. Hello to Filip aka Pysh, who is friend of the family for a long time yet but it took a while until good things come to an end. Both Originals are that cup of tea we like to drink in 2022 so it was an easy thing to welcome Filip to our aquarium with these two monsters. And a warm welcome back to our almost naked boy (remember the cover from "Nostalgia"): My Secret Playground – on remix duties. His interpretation is another one for the floor. Spicy but with a lot of love. So here we are: 3x music for the peak time.

It is now time of the Unchained Remixed. Every song from the previous release has been remixed by an incredible selection of talented artists selected by Sincopat's Big Kahuna for such an special recording. To start with, we have no_ip, a long-time friend of the house. He delivers a sublime reinterpretation of We are shifting, a raw and organic work with Sutja Gutierrez's voice that acquires a new dimension.
In the same order as the original release we now have Bsoul, but this time remixed by My Secret Playground, one of the most in-shape artists of the moment. Understanding the original essence, he takes the track to his colourful disco world full of nuances. Huarache, name of AFFKT's favourite sneakers, is remixed by The Policy. They did a magnificent and classy rework over hypes and styles where words are superfluous. Last but not least, we have SNYL, the winner of the first Sincopat remixed contest and part of the family by his own merits.

After introducing himself in our last compilation RETROFUTUR, Levantine deploys his first EP for the owl.

"Interdimensional Love Triangle" is a powerful cosmic italo track with a tense acid touch. In the distance stretches a melancholy melody.

In the same vein as the eponymous track, "Fever" is definitively badass ! Percussive rhythm, cosmic melody and poignant synth are the main ingredients of this dancefloor track.

"Ecstasy & Desperation" is a slightly more sensitive title but still very danceable. The bass and synth match perfectly. The atmosphere is highlighted with a spatial melody and some carrying pads.

Our favorite Berlin-based Austrian My Secret Playground is back. Once again delivering a sensational remix, he perfectly mixes his Disco origins and electronic music, while respecting Levantine's original music. Cosmic and lyrical !

To close the release, welcome to the talentuous David Garcet. The Belgian born artist gives a nostalgic and futuristic breaky reinterpretation of "Ecstasy & Desperation". Dark, captivating, fiery !

Again and again Florian Herzberg – the mastermind behind My Secret Playground – is drawn to his hometown Vienna. A city full of old glory and vanity, a spirit of optimism and standstill in the same way. On his releases the now Berlin-based producer combines these peculiarities in Electro and modern sounding 80s tracks. Rolling aggressive beats are replaced by broad synths and strings. Pounding kick drums paired with nostalgic vocal lines and vocoders make the leap into the 21st century and give My Secret Playgrounds an own contemporary Indie Dance sound. 

For more than a decade Florian has been based out of Berlin; in the German capital, he has not only found his unique musical voice – but emotional solidity within his greatest passion.
2014 he launched his live music project ‘My Secret Session’, an event where DJs and musicians improvise live together to dance music. Through this session he was able to shape the unique organic sound width of My Secret Playground and also work with the best musicians in town. Since then Florian has been performing internationally as a DJ and with his band, creating a variety of sounds that sets him apart from the rest.

His track „Wir Tanzen“ on Rabotat Records, combined with the viral video during Quarantine 2020, followed by his EP „Fears of Tears„, on Melopee Records, pushed My Secret Playground to a wider audience. His latest releases have all made it into the Beatport Indie Charts Top100. 

Since 2022 Florian organizes the hedonistic Party Theme Whipped Cream – a colorful dance soiree with artists like Freundenthal, Vlad Yaki, Bizzarro Universe or Myrddin.
