Dystopix comes 3 years after the last Neud Photo record and the wait was well worth it. Things have gotten darker with this release. Elegant craftsmanship, subtle but effective vocals whisper throughout, and as always, it's Cybotron influence is clear. The tracks flow with an eery cohesiveness, making it Neud Photo's most well told story to date. The hard part is figuring out whether the story is fiction or (soon to be) reality.

These 6 electro hits can easily be enjoyed either chapter by chapter (songs for the mix or dancefloor), or as a whole (for bedroom listening). Mastered by Rude 66.

Rumors have been swirling that Hillary D. Rodham has teamed up with Wall Street to take on the Kremlin's most powerful sleeper agent and dearest droog of Mr. Putin, Donald Trump.

In response, Trump has hired a group of hackers to penetrate the DNC's e-mail server. For unknown reasons several of the files attached to these e-mails have been labeled as 'Stereoyunost'. Wikileaks was kind enough to release audio recordings to Mysidian that were found on the server and have immediately been pressed to vinyl.

Don Jones & Bill Benjamins have been linked to the recordings, but we're still unsure who Stereoyunost is and the connection they all have with each other.

Neud Photo (Nico Nightingale) has been on a tear lately and this latest offering for Mysidian shows up as his most dark and menacing. The electro meets techno sound we know him for is still prevalent but the amnesia-inducing 'Dreamz' carries thumping EBM and New Beat influences as well. R&S meets Subway meets Mute. 
While each track plays on it's own themes independently with tasteful vocal samples and industrial energy, the thing they all have in common is obvious. 
They completely satisfy aural wishes excited during the day which remain unrealized. They are simply and undisguisedly realizations of wishes.

All the right influences from ’93 are there while still sounding fresh! Being one of our favorite records of 2021 so far and it just being Ftzzgrld’s first EP on vinyl we might be getting ahead of ourselves when we say we’re already excited to hear more from both Ftzzgrld & Roy Comanchero!
