Jensen Interceptor (@jensen-interceptor) Bold, Timeless and coming for you. Take it as you want, we did and dam are we glad. You may have heard of this nightrider in the electro sphere on labels such as Central Processing Unit / Zone/ Boys Noise Records or just casually collaborating with veteran The Hacker on his own imprint International Chrome. Having known Jensen for some time now it was more then appropriate to have him join us in the steam room and turn some gears. The result? 5 dance ready pieces from the future, delivered to us in the past and ready for you now. This is PS006 - Jensen Interceptor ’s Delayed Response

Gear 1, Route E - Headlights, check….tailgates, check…engine oil….CHECK. Some serious low slung BPM machine funk with a few twists and turns. Gear 2, Delayed Response feat Kirin J Callinan on Guitar/ Freak out duties - Jensen ramps it up a notch with wild guitar lines from Kirin soar through the motorik groove and hey, Delayed Response might be exactly the reaction we expect.

On the B side we have Emulator, taken right from the era of the E-MU SP machine. The heart ripped right out, implanted and transformed into a sweat induced body music work out. Gear 4, Tunnel Chase takes us in to some Front 242 / Tyranny For you mutated breaks territory. Mechanical rhythms push and thrust alongside the main sequence all but guided by a vocal pad of whom? The voice of your mother through distant memory? And finale’ Saudade - a dark wave / electro piece highlighting the origins/ inspirations of his mission. Jensen might be trying to tell us something about the future.

Brainwaves return for another round of off the wall IDM this summer, this time with Estebahn presenting his first solo EP for the Geneva based label. Breakbeat rave and subaquatic electro set the tone of this release which also features a remix from fellow Brainwaves family Weith.

A small vile was perched on the table reflecting the light from the bulb that hung above. The liquid inside was a deep red that glistened and sparkled mysteriously. Below the vile a note had been penned in thick black ink with the letters 'READ ME'. The writing inside was decipherable, perhaps it wasn't meant to be understood because of the gravity of its content. It was a poisonous and deadly invitation to their worst enemies. 

Necare Disko is the first release from Thomaas Banks, the new moniker of Psychemagik's Tom Coveney. This EP also marks the launch of his new label Sinahti and showcases his tastes for the darker side of electronica and techno and a palette we're sure we'll see much more of in the future. Pinkman regular TYVYT-IYTYI provides one of the remixes, flipping it into a dark noise workout with detuned melodies.

The 2nd release on Phase Group comes from the mind of young Belgrade-based producer, Andria.

With o o o o o Andria presents four tracks of otherworldly sounds. Music made on mutant technology for apocalyptic rave rituals, showcasing a deep talent in sound design and rhythmic manipulation.

‘Osion’ opens the EP in epic fashion, melancholic and driving dark IDM that introduces us to Andria's sonic world. '6h of Sna' builds up the intensity with some ominous space-age dancehall. Title-track 'o o o o o' is a heady club tool for serious dance floors, inspired no-doubt by countless nights at Belgrade techno-haven Drugstore, where Andria holds a residency. Finally, 'Komina' brings everything back down to a subterranean crawl, the swirling and whispering sounds of unfamiliar technology echoing to you from all sides.

Neud Photo (Nico Nightingale) has been on a tear lately and this latest offering for Mysidian shows up as his most dark and menacing. The electro meets techno sound we know him for is still prevalent but the amnesia-inducing 'Dreamz' carries thumping EBM and New Beat influences as well. R&S meets Subway meets Mute. 
While each track plays on it's own themes independently with tasteful vocal samples and industrial energy, the thing they all have in common is obvious. 
They completely satisfy aural wishes excited during the day which remain unrealized. They are simply and undisguisedly realizations of wishes.
