kokoro’s latest album “The Way Home,” full of soft melodies and mellow soundscapes, takes you on a journey through the scenery of an autumn evening. "No matter where life takes you... don't forget where you came from"

The whole concept behind this project was to try and blend in a different culture with lofi/chillhop/electronic music. Each track utilizes samples that give off a persian vibe, whether that would be dialogue in farsi, ethnic instruments or the ambiance of the society. I tried to give it a more middle eastern feeling while trying to portray my sound at the same time.

My early childhood revolved around this culture and each track conveys certain memories or timelines within my days in Iran. The tracklist follows a chronological format relative to the timeline of my childhood. I'm not going to say much about the meaning behind these songs but you should be able to work it out and piece it together ;) because the beautiful thing is that everyone has a unique perspective on it.

For some of the tracks, inspirations were arised from different artists including: Ludovico Einaudi, Mayflwr and ford.
