Arirang is a Korean folk song describing the travails encountered by the subject of the song while crossing a mountain pass. The mentioned Arirang Gogae (=pass) is an imaginary rendezvous of lovers in the land of dreams. In this version JahYu puts the poetic mystic of the song into a bass-driven Dubstep context ready to make the dancehall enter the land of dreams.

The lotus is omnipresent in Korean culture. Not only the blossoms but also the roots, the leafy pads – the whole flower. It shows up in literature, art, architecture, music and even in food. The lotus is a symbol of Buddhism. Either pink or white, it can bloom in even the foulest water; it retains its beauty without letting its environment taint its pure nature. The flower signifies a spiritual paradise.

JahYu, the German musician known for  his stellar dub music released on the  highly respected Steppas and Trigram-serie,  would like to extend his love for  dub and dubstep music through his  newly established Tripedal Crow imprint.  This allows the producer to transport the  balance of earth-shaking bass, drums  and authentic melodies – a Universal Sound that is rootikal, conscious, diverse  and specifically made for sound systems.

As founder, JahYu aims at exhibiting his  interpretation of 'Universal Sound In The  Lineage Of The Sun'. The spiritual  message that is embedded in each cut of  the ‘Circumfluent Spirits’ EP signifies that  music is a way to achieve inner harmony  and to feel the balance in all living things.

The Tripedal Crow symbolizes the sun in  ancient Korean history and goes  peacefully with Roots & Culture. To keep  the message in the music and the music  in the message, it contains the both  Asian and Rastafarian culture rooted  idea of unity. Each cut also holds the  balance of the soft Yin and the hard  Yang: The hard Yang tone takes the  spiritual, the soft Yin tone the  entertaining and appeasing part.

Sonido de un hacha cortando leña en el bosque. Prepirineo de Navarra. Antiguamente, primero se hacía un corte en los troncos con una hacha, por el lado por el debían de caer, para luego cortarlo con la tronchadora (sierra).

El sonido fue captado como parte del paisaje sonoro de la ruta "Naturaleza salvaje y usos tradicionales del bosque navarro", elaborada para el portal de rutas temáticas Turinea. Un paseo interpretativo por el ayer y el hoy del Pirineo Oriental de Navarra. Hasta hace unas pocas décadas, especialmente en el medio rural, cada familia trabajaba en perfecto equilibrio y coordinación para ser autosuficientes. Las estaciones del año marcaban los ciclos de trabajo y producción, teniendo cada miembro un rol determinado. Bien en la propia casa, alrededores o en la finca, en el caso de los más afortunados o con mayor poder adquisitivo, se procuraba el poder producir la mayor cantidad de alimentos y bienes necesarios para autoabastecerse.

En este sentido, los BOSQUES siempre han sido una inagotable fuente de recursos de todo tipo, tanto para los animales como para los humanos. Una adecuada gestión de estos espacios forestales era básica y fundamental para poder seguir viviendo de esos recursos y que, con el tiempo, perdurase el equilibrio. Eso que hoy se llama gestión forestal sostenible, antes era el único camino para poder sobrevivir.

Una trabajada ruta, en pleno contacto con la naturaleza más virgen e inalterada del PIRINEO ORIENTAL DE NAVARRA, en donde se tiene la opción, de primera mano, de hacer un viaje histórico a los usos y tradiciones más arraigados en torno a los bosques. El escenario ya es, en sí mismo, un escaparate natural con impresionantes HAYAS, ROBLES y otras especies como el CHOPO, el SAUCE, los ARCES o el FRESNO. Todo aderezado con elementos patrimoniales y etnográficos que invitan a una interpretación y aprendizaje constante.

El bosque significaba alimento y refugio para rebaños y pastores y, en ese sentido, las BORDAS son un testigo inalterable de aquellos modos de vida ligados a las transhumancia. También era vías de ingresos con duros oficios como los de CARBONERO o CALERO. Por no hablar de la EBANISTERÍA o los artesanos de la TALLA EN MADERA: antes no era un oficio, sino una necesidad. Hoy en día, los que quedan, son auténticos maestros que hay que poner en valor.
