THE COSMIC LOVE

This track is the final result of what began as a short 1 min piece that I created as my final work for my Sound Design class this last semester at Berklee School of Music. The assignment was to showcase some of the presets/patches that I had created for the class. I ended up liking the short piece so much, that I made a whole song out of it. I normally do not write music in the Key of C Major (too happy of a Key for my tastes usually), but I am pleased with how this turned out. I think this music piece really draws in a sense of longing and nostalgia.... or a mystical "Wanderlust" for a time and place never experienced. I was pleased to find that someone has indeed invented an existential term for this inner Nostalgia/Wanderlust.... "Anemoia", so thank you to the man who writes the 'Dictionary of Obscure Sorrows' for this term. I hope you all enjoy this music piece and thanks for listening! New Years Blessings to everyone!

This track was created using Reason 13 Rack Plug-in with instruments Thor and Subtractor, Ableton Live 12 DAW, Vital Synth, Arturia's Augmented Piano, Ableton's Drum Rack with 80s drum samples, stock Ableton EQ, effects and utilities, Fab Filter EQ and effects and mastering done with Ozone 11.
