For this month edition on @nts-latest, we are diving into a post Full Moon release, channeling “Chiron, The Wounded Healer”.

Chiron is an asteroid known as the wounded healer. It represents the wounds that we come into this life with and the wounds we inherit along the way.
These wounds are not the sort that ever pass, rather they are the ones that are forever stitched into the fabric of our journey.
It is these wounds, that give us the compassion, the strength, and the wisdom to rise up into a new power, and into a truer and more authentic version of ourselves.
Chiron is currently in Aries, reminding us that this is not a time to lick our wounds but rather to allow them to serve as fuel to help us rise up into our inner warrior.

As if it were a migratory journey, we move away voluntarily or forced, unfortunately some, from a cold and normally noisy city full of hectic lives and people with a thirst for power. A walk towards nature/forest where human voices cease to exist to transform into animal sounds causing a feeling of refuge and closeness. We leave behind a world of concrete and welcome the sounds of mother earth.

Milan native Matteo, a clearly devotee of nature, investigates sound with high enthusiansm and dedication. He wonderfully creates a mellow amalgam of layers using over-reverberated synths, field recordings, and self-created samples. Atoloi is constantly searching for another dephts in which the listener can get lost while getting submerged by heavy-grained noises and evocative instrumental compositions.

Matteo has left us the following text: “I tried to represent this slow march in a real and, at the same time, emotional forest, in which memories and the outer cosmos merge into a unique and cathartic experience.

A pleasant stroll through the forests of Ego. “A universe born from the perfect union between the external environment and the inmost emotional unconscious”.

This recording was made on the first day of explosive news and lock-down in the Spanish pandemic. The day before I moved to a lonely and really old house on the mountains, and despite the deep social and geographic isolation here, the news and the intimidating atmosphere was arriving from everywhere in all the forms and channels, so dystopian, so scary, so unreal. Alone by decision and with a new kind of  heartbeat that i've never experienced before, sat down to put some music together for my new friends and the experimented ears of the Godmother Radio. Hope it can fill some space of your time at home, crossing the imaginary fields I mixed with tracks by Pepo Galan & David Cordero, Warmth, Docetism, Tarek Soltani, Global Communication, Adhémar, Silentwave, Deru, ataxy, Stigr Asc & Sam KDC and ending on Suicide's track "I remember" that was sounding quite often before all this new world order started. Mysteries — as fans lovingly call it — is concerned with exploration of unknown realms, and its focus, in addition to showcasing a dynamic spectrum of electronic music from foremost artists in the field, is to thoughtfully engage its audience. 

Conceptualized in 2011, Mysteries began as a podcast series that has hosted an array of mixes and original works. The project has since evolved, expanding into a curated global event series and record label.
