The bass and drums are based on a paradiddle (RLRR LRLL drum rudiment). I played the figure on pads, then moved the notes around various percussion instruments. The drums are mostly "linear", meaning no two notes hit at the same time. It kinda gives it a "Flim" feel. (although it sounds nothing like "Flim")

The song opens like a shiver—*“The night loosens its grip, leaves me in silence, where memories hover, shadows without shape”*—pitting the comfort of darkness against dawn’s merciless clarity. The chorus, *“There’s a chill in the light, it feels too honest,”* aches with the vulnerability of confronting what daylight unearths: fractured truths and “things unsaid.” The spoken-word outro lingers like mist, whispering of liminal purgatory: *“a place between what’s gone and what’s yet to begin.”*

The bridge strips the arrangement to a skeletal hum—cold synths and trembling reverb mirroring the lyric’s *“loss without sorrow”*—before the instrumental break erupts in a cascade of melancholic strings and wiry arpeggios.

Hello again Listeners,

 Hope I'm not overloading you, but here's another of our recent 
 ambient/contemporary classical improvs. I have several weeks of 
 recordings i'm going though and just wish to share the best.

 Far from virtuosity, we seem to discover the 'Feels' and 'Flows' that 
 organically emerge from our musical conversations.
 
 And btw... this is an Homage to All who have found their way.
